A new feature was added to Route4Me’s Transportation Management Software. It enables you to define custom, dynamically calculated Service Times based on Dynamic Service Time Rules.

Go to “Optimization Settings” > “Dynamic Service Times” in the Navigation Menu.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication & Trusted Devices New Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Settings Page Added

A new “Two-Factor Authentication” (2FA) section was added to Account Settings with the following options:

  1. Verification Method: Here, you can enable 2FA by clicking “Add” in the “Email” field.
  2. Recovery Codes: When 2FA is enabled, you can generate backup recovery codes which can be used to sign in to your account if you’ve lost access to your second factor email or device.
  3. Trusted Devices: Use the “Remember Trusted Devices” toggle to skip 2FA on trusted devices for a customizable period.

You can now edit multiple Recurring Routes at the same time by clicking the new “Bulk Address Operations” button.

Additionally, the following new management actions were added to the “Bulk Actions” menu:

  1. Re-Optimize Routes: Recalculate optimal destination sequences after making changes.
  2. Refresh Directions: Recalculate the best directions between route destinations
  3. View Manifest: Open the selected routes to view a dynamic route manifest.
  4. Duplicate: Create copies of the selected routes.
  5. View on Multiple Routes Map: Open the selected routes on the Routes Map.
  6. Insert Breaks: Add customizable Driver Breaks to the selected routes.

New bulk management actions were added to the Recurring Routes page.

It’s now possible to insert route Destinations from one planned route into another or into the best possible route with minimal distance and time impact. To do so, open a route in the Route Editor, right-click a Destination and select one of the following options:

  • Insert Into Route: Select a planned route in which to insert the Destination.
  • Insert Into Best Route: See and select the best possible routes in which to insert the Destination.

Set Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Times In Optimization Profiles Add Time Before & After Routes To Account For Additional Tasks

New “Pre-Trip Time” and “Post-Trip Time” fields were added to “Schedule” section of Optimization Profile Settings. These new fields enable you to add time before a route’s scheduled start and after its scheduled end to account for additional steps, tasks, or requirements.

Manage Customer Importance With New Customization New Customer Importance Customization With Levels & Sorting Added

When you add and edit Customers, you’ll find a new “Manage Importance” button. Previously, you could only select Customer Importance. When you click “Manage Importance“, you’ll see a new customization interface where you can edit or delete existing Importance values or click “Add Importance” to create new ones.

When creating Importance values, you can set their “Name” and “Sort Order” in the respective fields. Importance values with a lower sort order number are shown first. Click “Create” to save your new Customer Importance level.
