Uploading Customers with Recurring Schedules into the Address Book List
Route4Me’s Recurring Routing Module allows you to create custom schedules for repetitive visitations of your customers on a daily, weekly, monthly, or even annual basis. When you need to create schedules for multiple customers at a time, you can simply upload a single spreadsheet with customers’ data and scheduling information into the system, and Route4Me will automatically create a new profile with a predefined schedule for each uploaded customer. You can learn more about creating and managing visitation schedules on this page.
To upload a spreadsheet with scheduled addresses, first, go to “Address Book List” from the navigation menu.
Next, go to “File” in the top left corner of the screen and then select “Upload Schedules” from the list.
After that, upload the spreadsheet with customers’ data and scheduling information from your device.
When importing customers’ data into the system, to define a schedule for each customer, add the following columns to the spreadsheet:
- – Reserved Attributes: Columns which contain Route4Me reserved attributes (i.e., address, alias, revenue, cube, priority, etc.) that are automatically recognized by the system. The “Address” column is the only obligatory column that must be included into the spreadsheet. To learn about using custom data, visit this page;
- – Recurring Schedule: Columns which contain the scheduling information of the customers/prospects that are being imported into the system. To add a schedule for each customer/prospect, include the corresponding visitation days as columns into the spreadsheet and then mark the days on which you want particular customers to be visited with “1” (leaving other cells empty). NOTE: When uploading spreadsheets with schedules, you can upload weekly schedules only.
