Strategic Location Snapshot – Customizable Strategic Optimization Location Analytics

Route4Me’s Strategic Location Snapshots provide a detailed overview of Locations used in your Strategic Optimization Scenarios. This enables you to find all route-critical information and metrics in one place. Snapshots show a Location’s route data, map overviews, visit details, and more. Learn how to open a snapshot, navigate its data categories, and filter the information you need.

Open Strategic Location Snapshots – Data And Analytics Overview

To open a Strategic Location Snapshot, go to “Strategic Routing” > “Scenarios” from the Navigation Menu to open your Strategic Optimizations. Then, open a Strategic Scenario, and click “Open” next to a Strategic Location.

Strategic Location Snapshot And Details Overview

After opening a snapshot, you’ll see a detailed interface with Strategic Location data with the following tools:

  1. Detail Summary: A quick overview of essential information, including the address, destination type, creation date, and more.
    From here, you can open snapshots for any associated entity using the Open Icon.
  2. Location Data Categories: Switch between “Routes” and “Visits” to explore Location data.
    From the “Routes” tab, you can open Strategic Route Snapshots using the “Open” Button.

All data is centralized and accessible, making it easier to analyze Strategic Location information, spot trends, and plan accordingly.

Strategic Location Map And Data Summary Panel

The summary panel displays key details about the Location. You can click the Location on the map to see an “Overview” with basic attribution details and “Defaults” order and scheduling values if there is an associated Customer Location on your account.

Strategic Location Data Categories

Strategic Location Snapshots are organized into tabs, each corresponding to a specific associated data category, such as:

  • Routes: Strategic Scenario Routes the Location was used in during optimization.
  • Visits: Strategic Route Destinations planned for the Location’s address and associated details.

Each tab is a fully customizable data table and supports different management actions. You can find more information below.

Strategic Location Route Data And Management

By default, the “Routes” tab opens when you access a Strategic Location Snapshot. From this tab, you can:

  1. Use the Search field and “Filters” to narrow down and locate specific routes.
  2. Click “Open” next to a Strategic Route to access its snapshot.
  3. Click the Down Arrow next to a route to access the “Export as CSVroute export option.

The filters available for Strategic Routes from this snapshot match those available in Strategic Scenarios, excluding Location-specific filters. See the Strategic Optimizations Data Catalog for more information about Strategic Route Filters.

You can also export multiple routes at the same time. To do so, check the boxes next to routes you want to export and click “Export as CSV” from the action bar. Additionally, you can use the “Bulk Actions” menu to “Compare Selected Routes“.

Strategic Location Destination Visit Data And Management

When the “Visits” tab is open, you can view all destinations associated with the Strategic Location. From this tab, you can:

  1. Use the Search field and “Filters” to narrow down and locate specific planned destination visits.

Planned visit filters match the Strategic Scenario Destination Filters available in the Strategic Optimizations Data Catalog.

You can also export planned visit data by checking boxes next to one or more entries and selecting “Export as CSV“.

Customize Strategic Location Snapshot Data Columns

To customize the data columns displayed in the snapshot, click the Columns Icon and check the boxes next to columns to enable them. Adjust their order by dragging column names in the “Arrange Columns” section and click “Apply” to save your changes.
