User Permissions Settings – Read-Only, Company and Route Visibility
Route4Me enables you to create an organized and easily manageable team of managers, route planners, dispatchers, drivers, and other team members. For your convenience, each user type has a set of default permissions. Furthermore, you can customize the account-level permissions, route visibility, driver and vehicle access settings of your users based on your unique operating needs and business model. This way, you can efficiently structure your team and assign the right work and routes to the right team members in real-time.

Route4Me’s Default Account-Level Permissions by User Type
Each user type has a specific set of default account-level permissions across the Route4Me Platform. Below, you can find the list of the Default Account-Level Permissions by User Type. Equally important, a user can view and manage routes, addresses, users, vehicles, and other data that is stored on their sub-users’ accounts.
NOTE: You can use the Company Visibility Settings and Read-Only Mode to override the default account-level permissions of your users. Accordingly, you can learn more about using the Company Visibility Settings and Read-Only Mode on this page.

Customize User Account-Level Permissions Settings
When you create a new user, this user has a default set of account-level permissions across the Route4Me Platform. Additionally, you can use the Read-Only Mode, Company Visibility, and Route Visibility Settings to override the default account-level permissions of your users.
NOTE: Company Visibility Settings and Read-Only Mode override the default account-level permissions of your users. To adjust the permission settings of your users, the Account Owner needs to enable the Advanced Team Management Add-On on the Primary Route4Me Account.
To customize the account-level permissions settings of your users, go to “Team” and select “Users” from the navigation menu to open the list of your users. After that, click on the three-dot menu icon next to the preferred user and then select “Edit” from the menu. Additionally, you can learn more about editing user profiles.

Route Visibility for Future Scheduled and Past Completed Routes
In the “Route Visibility” section of the user’s permissions settings, you can adjust the future scheduled and past completed Route Visibility Settings. NOTE: To enable the Route Visibility settings for your Route4Me account, Contact Route4Me Support.
Permissions Settings | Permissions Descriptions |

Hide Routes Scheduled for Before the Current Date | When enabled, the user can’t see any routes that are scheduled for before the current date. |
Show Future Routes Scheduled Number of Days in Advance | Add the preferred number of days for future routes visibility. For example, if you add “5” days, the user will see only those routes that are scheduled to start within 5 days from the current date. |
Company Visibility Settings for Vehicles, Drivers, Orders and Addresses
In the “Company Visibility” section of the user’s permissions settings, you can adjust the Drivers, Vehicles, Orders, and Address Book Visibility Settings.

See All Drivers | To enable, switch on the “See All Drivers” toggle. When enabled, the user can see and optionally manage all Drivers stored on the Primary Route4Me Account and accounts of all other users branched under the Account Owner. |
See All Vehicles | To enable, switch on the “See All Vehicles” toggle. When enabled, the user can see and optionally manage all Vehicles stored on the Primary Route4Me Account and accounts of all other users branched under the Account Owner. |
Global Address Book | To enable, switch on the “Global Address Book” toggle. When enabled, the user can see and optionally manage all Address Book addresses stored on the Primary Route4Me Account and accounts of all other users branched under the Account Owner. |
Global Orders List | To enable, switch on the “Global Orders List” toggle. When enabled, the user can see and optionally manage all Orders stored on the Primary Route4Me Account and accounts of all other users branched under the Account Owner. |
Read-Only Mode – Editing Restrictions Settings
In the “Read-Only” section of the user’s permissions settings, you can enable and disable the Read-Only Mode. When the Read-Only Mode is enabled for the user’s account, the user can see the routes and work assigned to them but can’t edit the routes and work assigned to them.
NOTE: The Read-Only Mode overrides the default account-level permission of your users. Below, you can find the list of permissions that each user type has when the Read-Only Mode is enabled for their account.
