Password Reset – Restore Password to Route4Me Web Account
Whenever you can’t log into your Route4Me account, you can easily restore your password in a few simple steps. For more convenience and efficiency, Route4Me also enables you to use quick authentication with your Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub account so that you can create a new Route4Me account with just a few clicks and fill out your account details later.
When you register your new Route4Me account with your Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub account, this Route4Me account is linked to one of the selected options accordingly. Thus, you do not have a dedicated password for your Route4Me account and you can log into your Route4Me account only by using one of the corresponding authentication methods. If you want to create a new password for your Route4Me account so that you can sign in with your email address, you need to reset your password in the Route4Me Account Settings accordingly.
NOTE: If you are a sub-user of a primary account and you can’t log in, please ask your Account Owner to help you unlock your account. Alternatively, you can reach out to our Customer Success Team and we will help you as quickly as possible.
To reset the password to your Route4Me account, first, go to “Forgot Password” from the main login page.
Next, input the email address that is associated with your Route4Me account and then click on the “Reset Password” button. When you register your Route4Me account with Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub authentication, use the email address that is associated with the selected authentication option.
After that, open the password reset link sent to the provided email address. Next, use the corresponding fields to confirm your email address and create a new password for your Route4Me account. Once your password is reset, you can log into your Route4Me account using the new password accordingly.
To change your password when logged into your Route4Me account, first, go to “Account Settings” from the navigation menu and then scroll to the password section.
After that, input and confirm the new password in the corresponding fields, and then click on the “Save” button to apply the changes.
