Insert Destinations Into Routes From The Route Editor New Destination Insertion Options Added When Editing Routes

It’s now possible to insert route Destinations from one planned route into another or into the best possible route with minimal distance and time impact. To do so, open a route in the Route Editor, right-click a Destination and select one of the following options:

  • Insert Into Route: Select a planned route in which to insert the Destination.
  • Insert Into Best Route: See and select the best possible routes in which to insert the Destination.

Set Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Times In Optimization Profiles Add Time Before & After Routes To Account For Additional Tasks

New “Pre-Trip Time” and “Post-Trip Time” fields were added to “Schedule” section of Optimization Profile Settings. These new fields enable you to add time before a route’s scheduled start and after its scheduled end to account for additional steps, tasks, or requirements.

It’s now possible to enable “Multiple Depots” and “Mixed Fleet” in the same Optimization Profile. Previously, these options were mutually exclusive. Now, you’re able to select multiple Departure Addresses and Vehicles or Equipment Types to optimize routes with.

Manage Customer Importance With New Customization New Customer Importance Customization With Levels & Sorting Added

When you add and edit Customers, you’ll find a new “Manage Importance” button. Previously, you could only select Customer Importance. When you click “Manage Importance“, you’ll see a new customization interface where you can edit or delete existing Importance values or click “Add Importance” to create new ones.

When creating Importance values, you can set their “Name” and “Sort Order” in the respective fields. Importance values with a lower sort order number are shown first. Click “Create” to save your new Customer Importance level.

Enhancement

Improvements to existing features. This includes adding new data columns, advanced filtering options, or increasing the efficiency of current workflows.

UI/UX Updates

Visual and structural changes. These updates focus on redesigns and navigation improvements to make the software more intuitive and easier to navigate.

System Updates

Behind-the-scenes technical improvements. While not always visible, these updates enhance platform stability, security, and backend processing speed.

Integration

Updates related to connecting Route4Me with external systems. This includes ERP and API integrations, Telematics providers, and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow across your organization.

Feature Removal

The retirement or deprecation of legacy tools.

Features are removed to reduce complexity, replace outdated tech, streamline the user experience, and ensure you always have access to the most up-to-date Route4Me functionality.
