Asset Snapshot – Centralized Asset Data And Analytics Overview
Managing an Asset across multiple Routes, Users, and Facilities can get complicated fast. The Asset Snapshot solves that by putting everything in one centralized, real-time view, whether you’re running a single last mile optimized route or coordinating full-scale enterprise route planning. From this page, you can search, filter, and open related records directly, without ever switching screens. Learn more about the Asset Snapshot in this guide.

Access Asset Snapshots – View Asset Data And Analytics
To open an Asset Snapshot, go to “Team & Equipment” > “Assets” from the Navigation Menu. On the Assets Page, click “Open” next to the desired Asset.
Once the Snapshot is opened, you’ll see a detailed interface designed to help you review and manage all Asset data:
- Summary Panel: Overview of key information about the Asset, including a real-time tracking map.
- Data Tabs: Switch between tabs to explore Asset-related data, which you can filter and customize as needed.
- Edit Controls: Click the “Edit Asset” button in the top-right corner to modify Asset details.
Asset Summary – Detailed Snapshot Information Panel
The Assets Summary panel displays key asset information, including its current location on a map. From this panel you can:
- View the Asset in real time on the map. Hover over the asset’s location to view and copy its coordinates.
- Quickly scan its assigned Asset Type, internal ID, external management status, and additional details.
Asset Snapshot Categories – Asset Analytics Data Tabs
The Asset Snapshot is organized into tabs, each corresponding to a specific category of data described below.
Tracking Tab – Current Location Information And Insights
The “Tracking” tab displays all location updates associated with an Asset, including telemetry data when available via Telematics Integration. From this tab you can:
- Filter data by specific time period.
- Click an Info Icon to view the Vehicle’s tracked location on a map, with key details such as latitude, longitude, speed, and timestamp.
- Scroll horizontally to view all available data columns, described in the table below.

Sequential tracking instance, representing the order in which the Vehicle was recorded during its route.
Info
Click to view the Vehicle’s location on the map, including location and speed at a specific date and time.
Your Time
Timestamp showing when this tracking record was captured.
Speed
Vehicle speed at the recorded time.
Latitude
Vehicle latitude at the recorded time.
Longitude
Vehicle longitude at the recorded time.
Altitude
Vehicle altitude at the recorded time.
Direction
Direction the vehicle is facing at the recorded time.
Odometer
The total distance the vehicle has traveled, as recorded by the vehicle’s odometer at the time of this tracking instance.
Engine RPM
The engine’s revolutions per minute, indicating how fast the engine is running at this moment.
Engine Coolant Temperature
The temperature of the engine’s coolant, helping monitor engine operating conditions and prevent overheating.
Battery Health
An overall assessment of the vehicle’s battery condition, showing its capacity to hold and deliver charge.
Battery Temperature
The current temperature of the vehicle’s battery, which can affect performance and longevity.
Battery Level
The remaining charge in the battery, expressed as a percentage of full capacity.
Charge Status
Indicates whether the battery is currently charging, discharging, or fully charged.
Engine Status
Shows whether the engine is currently running or off at the time of this tracking instance.
Driver Seatbelt Status
Indicates whether the driver’s seatbelt is fastened.
Fuel Level
The remaining fuel in the Vehicle’s tank.
Source
Origin of the data, e.g., Route4Me.
Device Time
Timestamp of the device recording the data.
Aliases Tab – Asset Aliases And Identifiers
The “Aliases” tab displays all alternate names and internal identifiers assigned to the Asset, making it easier to identify and locate them within your database.
Routes Tab – Asset Route History And Key Metrics
The “Routes” tab displays every Route the Asset has been assigned to, giving you quick access to route details and editing tools. From this tab you can:
- Use the Search field to locate specific Routes.
- Narrow down the displayed list of Routes using the Date Range, Group By, or Filter options, detailed in the table below.
- Click “Open” next to a Route to access its Route Snapshot.
- Click the Down Arrow button to make modifications to the Route from the Route Editor.

Filter by vehicle assigned to the route.
Facility
Filter by facility linked to the route.
Customer
Filter by customer linked to the route.
Contract
Filter by contract linked to the route.
Strategic Optimization Name
Filter by the name of the strategic optimization used to generate or modify the route.
Scenario Name
Filter by the scenario applied during strategic route planning.
Status
Filter by the current progress or completion state of the route (e.g., Planned, Scheduled, Started, Completed).
Planned Total Route Duration (h)
Filter by the total estimated duration, in hours, planned for completing the route.
Planned Total Distance (mi)
Filter by the total planned distance, in miles, for completing all stops on the route.
Custom Data
Filter by Custom Data key and value.
Destinations Arrived (Progress %) (User Actioned)
Filter by the percentage of planned destinations the driver has arrived at.
Destinations Count
Filter by the total number of destinations assigned to the route.
Pending Destinations
Filter by destinations not yet started or completed by the driver.
Failed Destinations
Filter by destinations marked as failed due to inability to complete service.
Skipped Destinations
Filter by destinations the driver intentionally skipped or bypassed.
Completed Destinations
Notes Count
Filter by number of notes added to the route by users or automated processes.
Destinations Arrived Late (User Actioned)
Filter by destinations where the driver arrived after the scheduled time window.
Destinations Arrived Early (User Actioned)
Filter by destinations where the driver arrived earlier than the scheduled time window.
Destinations Arrived On Time (User Actioned)
Filter by destinations where the driver arrived within the scheduled time window.
Out of Sequence Destinations (#)
The number of destinations visited in an order different from the planned sequence.
Actual Total Distance (Mobile App) (mi)
Total distance in miles recorded by the mobile app during the route.
Actual Total Distance (Telematics)
Total distance in miles recorded from the assigned vehicle’s telematics device.
Planned
Filter by total planned Pieces (units) amount of all Destinations on the planned route.
Completed
Filter by total number of completed pieces or units.
Completed (%)
Filter by percentage of pieces or units completed.
Remaining At End (%)
Filter by percentage of pieces or units still remaining when the route ended.
Planned
Filter by total planned Weight amount of all Destinations on the planned route.
Completed
Filter by total weight completed across all serviced destinations.
Completed (%)
Filter by percentage of planned weight completed.

Date Created
Date and time when the route was created.
Scheduled Start Time
Scheduled start time for the route.
Planned End Time
Planned end time for the route.
Actual Start Time
Time when the route actually started.
Actual End Time
Time when the route actually finished.
Total distance planned for the route, including all stops.
Planned Total Route Duration
Estimated total duration for completing the route.
Start Time Zone
Timezone of the route’s start location.
Total Man Hours
Total estimated working hours for completing the route.
Destinations Count
Total number of destinations planned for the route.
Pending Destinations
Number of destinations not yet visited.
Number of destinations that could not be completed.
Number of destinations intentionally skipped.
Number of destinations successfully completed.
Notes Count
Total number of notes added to the route by users or automated processes.
Route Start Odometer
The vehicle odometer reading at the beginning of the route.
Route End Odometer
The vehicle odometer reading at the completion of the route.
Route Start Engine Hours
The engine hour meter reading recorded at the beginning of the route.
Route End Engine Hours
The engine hour meter reading recorded at the completion of the route.
Destinations Arrived On-Time (User Actioned)
Destinations where arrival matched the scheduled time, based on user input.
Destinations Arrived Early (User Actioned)
Destinations reached earlier than scheduled, based on user input.
Destinations Arrived Late (User Actioned)
Destinations reached later than scheduled, based on user input.
First Access Time
Date and time the route was first viewed by a user.
Status
Current progress or completion status of the route.
Dispatch
Indicates whether the route has been assigned to a driver or team.
Number of destinations marked as arrived by user actions.
Destinations Arrived (Progress %) (User Actioned)
Percentage of destinations completed, based on user input.
Actual Total Distance (Mobile App)
Total distance traveled, recorded by the mobile app.
Actual Total Distance (Telematics)
Total distance traveled, recorded by telematics.
Actual Total Distance (Merged)
Combined distance from mobile app and telematics data.
Actual Route Duration (User Actioned)
Actual Route Duration is calculated based on the received Mobile App GPS data. Duration is measured from when the route was started to when the route was ended by the assigned User on the Mobile App.
Actual Total Route Duration (Grand Total of All Sub-Durations)
The total time spent traveling the route, including all individual segments and stop durations.
Actual Total Travel Duration (User Actioned)
The total time spent traveling the route, recorded from driver actions in the Mobile App.
Actual Total Service Duration (User Actioned)
The total time drivers spent servicing stops, recorded from actions in the Mobile App.
Actual Total Wait Duration (User Actioned)
Total amount of time that a driver spent being inactive while driving the route (i.e., a route started before the opening hours and a driver had to wait, a driver arrived at the address before the opening of the Time Window, etc.).
Actual Total Break Duration
The total duration of all scheduled breaks for the route, calculated based on the planned stops and route schedule.
Actual Total Unattributed Duration
Time not attributed to driving, service, or breaks.
Actual Total Service Time (Auto Detected)
The total amount of the average Service Time of all destinations on the route.
Total duration of route recorded via the mobile app.
Total duration of route recorded via telematics.
Estimated total route duration.
Planned Total Travel Duration
Estimated driving time for the route.
Planned Total Wait Duration
Estimated total wait time during the route.
Planned Total Service Duration
Estimated total service time at destinations.
Planned Total Break Duration
Estimated total driver break time.
Out of Sequence Destinations (#)
The number of destinations visited in an order different from the planned sequence.
Out of Sequence Destinations (%)
The percentage of destinations visited in an order different from the planned sequence.
Facility
The depot, warehouse, or starting point used for planning the route; serves as the origin for route sequencing and time calculations.
Customer
The name of the customer associated with the route or destination, as defined in the account or order data.
Contract
The name or identifier of the contract linked to the assigned customer, if applicable, used for tracking or reporting purposes.
Total number of pieces planned for delivery.
Pieces Completed
Number of pieces successfully delivered.
Pieces Completed (%)
Percentage of planned pieces delivered.
Pieces Remaining At End (%)
Percentage of pieces undelivered at the route’s end.
Total weight of items planned for delivery.
Weight Completed

Users Tab – Asset User Assignments And Activity
The “Users” tab helps you keep track of who has access to or responsibility for the Asset across your organization. From this tab you can:
- Use the Search field to locate specific Users.
- Filter Users using the options described in the table below.
- Click “Open” next to a User to access their User Snapshot.
- Click the Down Arrow button to see which routes the User has been assigned to.

Last Login Device
Filter Users by the device they last logged in with, selectable from a list of devices associated with your account.
Logins
Filter Users by a minimum or maximum number of logins.

Date Of Birth
Filter Users by Date Of Birth.
Reporting To
Filter Users by manager or supervisor by entering a name in the search field.
Hourly Rate

Name
User's first and last name
Role
User's respective User Type, i.e. Administrator, Regional Manager, Route Planner, Dispatcher, Driver, Analyst, Sorter, or Customer Support. Each User Type has a specific set of default account-level permissions. Learn more about Route4Me's User Types Hierarchy and Customizing User Account-Level Permissions.
Email address of the user that functions as their account log in.
Created On
Date when the user's account was created, invitation accepted, or User account details were first uploaded.
Last Login
Timestamp of the last time the user logged in to their Route4Me account.
Last Login Device
The device that was last used by the user to log in to their Route4Me account.
Logins
The total number of times the user has logged in to their Route4Me account.
Reporting To
The direct manager or supervisor the user reports to within the team hierarchy.
Physical business locations associated with the user. These could include warehouses, depots, distribution centers, or hubs that might serve as start, end, or midpoint locations for routes.
Assets
Assets associated with the user.
Hourly Rate
The cost or pay rate assigned to the user.
Driving Rate
The cost or pay rate per mile or kilometer.
Service Time Rate
The amount of time allocated or charged for service at each stop.
Wait Time Rate
The cost or time allocated for delays or waiting periods at stops.
Location
The primary worksite or base where the user is assigned or operates from.
Default routing preferences and constraints applied to the user.
Date of Birth
The Users birthdate, typically used for identification, compliance or Human Resources records.
Phone Number
The contact number associated with the user.
A geographic area assigned to multiple users.

Alias
Unique name assigned to the vehicle, making it easy to identify and locate within your fleet when assigning it to routes.
Make
Brand or manufacturer of the vehicle.
Model
Specific vehicle design or model.
Model Year
Year the vehicle's design or version was manufactured.
Tag
Vehicle's unique license plate number, issued for identification.
Country
Nation where the vehicle is registered.
State
State where the vehicle is registered.
Year Purchased
Year the vehicle was bought.
VIN
Vehicle Identification Number, a unique code used to identify the vehicle.
Height
Maximum height of the vehicle.
Width
Maximum width of the vehicle.
Trailer/Straight Length
Total length of the vehicle or trailer.
Total Weight
Vehicle's total weight.
Max Weight per Axle Group
Maximum weight that can be carried by each axle group of the vehicle, measured.
Vehicle Profile
Vehicle's dimensions and usage settings, as well as any specialized regulations or restrictions associated with the vehicle.
Capacity Profile
Vehicle's maximum load capacity in weight, volume, and number of pieces.
Commercial Vehicle
Indicates whether the vehicle is designated as a commercial vehicle for rule-based routing and regulatory compliance.
Operational
Indicate if the vehicle is currently operational and available for use.
Facilities
Account Facilities associated with vehicles.
Assets
Assets and equipment associated with the vehicle, such as trailers, containers, tools, and other operational resources.
Attributes
Custom Vehicle Attributes used for Driver Skill and Vehicle Attributes destination matching and route planning.
Default User
Set the user that will be associated with the vehicle by default.
Source Telematics Vehicle ID
Unique identifier of the vehicle in the Telematics Connection it was imported from.
Source Telematics Connection
Provider or Telematics Connection the vehicle was imported into or synced with your Route4Me account.
Source Telematics Vendor Name
Name of the telematics vendor from which the vehicle data was imported or synced.
Fuel Type
Vehicle's fuel type (e.g., gasoline, diesel, electric, hybrid).
Fuel Consumption City
Vehicle's fuel efficiency for city driving.
Fuel Consumption Highway
Vehicle's city fuel efficiency for highway driving.
Fuel Level (%)
Vehicle's city fuel efficiency for highway driving.
Status
Indicates if the vehicle is “Active”, able to be managed and assigned; “Pending”, imported and requiring activation; or “Archived”, deactivated but able to be restored.
Odometer (mi)
Vehicle’s last synced odometer reading in miles.
Engine Hours (h)
Vehicle's last synced engine hour meter reading in hours.
Speed (mph)
Vehicle’s last synced speed in miles per hour.
Engine (rpm)
Vehicle’s last synced engine revolutions per minute.
Engine Coolant Temperature (°F)
Vehicle’s last synced engine coolant temperature in degrees Fahrenheit.
Battery Health (%)
Vehicle’s last synced battery health percentage.

Vehicle’s current charging status (if applicable).

The “Customers” tab centralizes every Customer relationship associated with the Asset, so you can monitor service history at a glance. From this tab you can:
- Use the Search field to locate specific Customers.
- Use Filters, described in the table below, to narrow down the displayed list of Customers.
- Click “Open” next to a Customer to access their Customer Snapshot.

External ID
Filter by a unique identifier assigned to the Customer via Route4Me or an external system such as a CRM or an ERP.
Customer Name
Filter by the official name used to identify the Customer, whether an individual or business.
Locations Count
Filter by the number of saved locations or addresses linked to a Customer.
Currency
Filter by the ISO currency code used for billing or invoicing (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP).
Tax ID
Filter by the Customer's Tax Identification number used for compliance and regulatory purposes.
Status
Filter Customers by their current status, "Active" or "Archived".
Billing Type
Filter Customers by their billing method, "Credit", "Cash On Delivery", or "Not Set".
Contracts
Filter Customers by contracts associated with them, such as service agreements or delivery terms.
Facility
Filter Customers by Facilities associated with them.

Status
The Customer's current status: "Active" or "Archived".
Customer Name
The first and last name of the Customer.
External ID
A unique identifier assigned to the Customer via Route4Me or an external system such as a CRM or ERP.
The facility, such as a warehouse, distribution center, or service hub, associated with the Customer.
Assets
Assets associated with the Customer.
The number of saved locations or addresses linked to the Customer.
Primary Contact
The main contact person for the Customer, responsible for communication and coordination.
Primary Contact Phone
The phone number for the Customer’s primary contact.
Primary Contact Email
The email address for the Customer’s primary contact.
Accountable Person
The individual responsible for managing shipments, deliveries, and other logistics activities for the Customer.
Currency
The ISO currency code used for billing or invoicing (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP).
Tax ID
The Customer’s Tax Identification number used for compliance and regulatory purposes.
Date Created
The date the Customer record was created in the system.
Billing Type
The Customer’s billing method: Credit, Cash On Delivery, or Not Set.
Contracts
The contracts associated with the Customer, such as service agreements or delivery terms.
External System Record ID
The unique record identifier assigned to the Customer in an external, integrated system.
External System
The name of the external system or platform the Customer record is integrated with or synced from.
Priority
The priority level assigned to the Customer, used to indicate the order in which they should be serviced.

Keywords
Specific terms, names, or details associated with Locations.
Location Type
Filter Locations by their associated Location Type.
Routing Status
Filter Locations depending on whether they've already been added to a route or are still unrouted.
Assigned To
Filter Locations by the team member they're assigned to, such as a Driver, Service Technician, or another member of your field team.
Telematics Connection
Filter Locations by the associated Telematics Connection.
Filter Locations by Telematics Vendor or vendors. Currently supports Geotab and Samsara.
No. Of Routes
Display only Locations that meet a specific minimum or maximum number of planned routes.
No. Of Visits
Display only Locations based on a specific minimum and/or maximum number of route visits.
Territories
Filter Locations by their associated Territory name.
Last Visited
Filter Locations by their last visit date, which is the most recent date when a route destination associated with a Location was visited.

Address
Street address of the Location used for routing. May be geocoded into latitude and longitude coordinates.
Location Alias
Custom alias or name that can be used when searching for the Customer Location.
Location Type
Category of service required at the Location defining the Location's purpose and function.
Parent Location
Main Location under which other Locations can be grouped as Sub-Locations.
First Name
First name of the customer or point of contact associated with the address.
Last Name
Last name of the customer or point of contact associated with the address.
Email address of the customer or point of contact associated with the address.
Phone
Phone number of the customer or point of contact associated with the address.
Telematics Connection
The name of the Telematics system linked to the Customer's address, used for tracking vehicle location and activity data.
Assigned To

Last Visited
The automatically generated timestamp of the last instance when the address was marked as "Visited" via Route4Me's Mobile Route Planner App.
Last Routed
The most recent date and time when the address was included in a planned route, regardless of whether the route was completed.
Group
A custom Group ID you have created and assigned to the address.
No. of Routes
The number of times the address has been inserted into a route.
No. of Visits
The number of times the address was marked as "Visited" via Route4Me's Mobile Route Planner App.

Facilities Tab – Asset Facility Assignments And Activity
The Facilities tab centralizes every Facility associated with the Asset, so you can monitor warehouse, depot, and other Facility assignments in one place. From this tab you can:
- Use the Search field to locate specific Facilities.
- Narrow the list by filtering Facilities by Status or Facility Type.
- Click “Open” next to a Facility to access its Facility Snapshot.
You can also customize the data displayed in the table. Click the Column Icon to select which route data fields appear and adjust their order to suit your operational needs.
The table below provides an overview of all available data columns, which you can reorder by dragging them into place.

Alias
The name assigned to the Facility, making it easier to identify within your database.
Facility ID
The unique identifier automatically assigned to the Facility.
Address
The physical address of the Facility.
Status
The current status of the Facility, such as Active or Inactive.
Types
The category or type assigned to the Facility, such as Warehouse or Depot.
Custom Data
Any additional custom fields or data assigned to the Facility.
Assets
The number of Assets associated with the Facility.
