Re-Optimize Routes And Remaining Route Destinations

When routes change due to new stops, delays, or shifting priorities, Route4Me helps you quickly re-optimize for maximum efficiency. You can re-optimize an entire route after making edits, or re-optimize remaining destinations to adjust only unfinished stops while keeping completed ones unchanged. This helps you adapt in real time without disrupting completed deliveries.

Re-optimize entire routes or specific incomplete destinations using the Routes List, Route Editor, or Routes Map.

Re-Optimize From The Routes List

To re-optimize from your Routes List, go to “Dynamic Routing” > “Routes” in the Navigation Menu. Check the box next to the route or routes you wish to re-optimize and click “Bulk Actions“.

From the “Bulk Actions” menu, select “Re-Optimize Routes” to re-optimize the entire route, recommended if you’ve made changes to destinations or settings.

Or, select “Re-Optimize Remaining Destinations” to re-optimize destinations without a status. NOTE: Destinations already marked as “Completed” cannot be re-optimized.

Open Your Routes List

Select

Once executed, the re-optimized route or destinations will automatically appear in your Routes List with the updated sequence applied and displayed on the Interactive Routes Page Map and Routes Timeline.

Re-optimized routes are automatically available for dispatch from your Routes List.

Re-Optimize From The Route Editor

To re-optimize from the Route Editor, click “Route” > “Re-Optimize This Route” or “Re-Optimize Remaining Destinations” in the Toolbar.

Use “Re-Optimize This Route” to recalculate the full route from within the Editor, or “Re-Optimize Remaining Destinations” to update only stops that have not yet been completed.

In the Route Editor, click

The system will automatically apply the new optimization, with the updated destination sequence and route path reflected in the Destinations List and on the Interactive Map.

The system will automatically update both the Destinations List and the Interactive Map.
