Barcode Types and Scanning Speed – iOS Route Planner
Route4Me’s iOS barcode scanner is designed to make your in-field routing operations as fast as possible, focusing on the security and efficiency of all performed transactions. The iPhone barcode scanning feature allows your team members to make records of completed tasks by scanning barcodes using only their smartphone. Furthermore, barcodes can be scanned to capture an ID from a printed label or sticker, check for an order item, capture proof of delivery (POD) or proof of service (POS), and more.
The current version of the Route4Me iOS Mobile Route Planner is capable of scanning almost all types of barcodes available on the market. For example, our barcode scanner feature can capture data from such popular barcodes as the following: Code 39, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, UPC, EAN, PDF 417, Data Matrix, QR Codes, and other bar codes. The chart below shows a sample of the most widely-used barcode types that can be scanned using Route4Me’s iOS Route Planner.
We are continuously working on improving the productivity of our iOS and Android Route Planners, releasing frequent updates and enhancements with the focus on the latest routing, logistics, and mobile technologies.
