Manage Route Stops and Addresses – iOS Route Planner
Route4Me Route Planner for iPhone allows you to easily manage your route stops on the go. To get started, first, open the route with the stops that you want to manage.
Adding Stops to a Route
Route4Me Route Planner provides multiple ways of adding stops to your routes for your convenience. Tap on the plus icon in the top right corner of the screen to add a stop(s) to the current route. Learn more about each method of adding stops here.
To manage a stop, tap on it to open its settings menu.
Viewing Stop’s Info
To view the stop’s info, select “Destination Info” from the stop’s settings menu. “Destination Info” provides detailed information about the stop.
Editing a Stop
To edit a stop, select the corresponding option from the stop’s settings menu. On the “Edit Destination” screen, you can add or edit information about the stop. Tap “Done” when finished to apply the changes.
Showing a Stop on the Map
To view a stop on the map, select “Show on Map” from the stop’s settings menu. The map displays stop’s location, brief info and visited/departed status. Learn more about using the map for viewing routes and stops on an iPhone here.
Adding a Stop to Favorites
Adding stops to Favorites allows you to make a list of frequently used addresses and use them for inserting into planned routes. To add a stop to Favorites, select the corresponding option from the stop’s settings menu. Once a stop is added to Favorites, the corresponding notification appears on the screen.
Scanning Barcodes
Route4Me’s Barcode Scanner allows you to reduce the time of data input and decrease the chances of possible errors. To scan a barcode and add its information to a stop, select the corresponding option from the stop’s settings menu.
Generating an Order from a Stop
Orders can be used as one time transactions or visits as well as reused multiple times. To generate an order from a stop, select the corresponding option from the stop’s settings menu. You can learn more about generating orders on your iPhone here.
Removing a Stop
To remove a stop from a route, select the corresponding option from the stop’s settings menu. Note that removing a stop from a route does not delete it from your Route4Me account but removes it from the route only.
Navigating a Route
Route4Me Route Planner offers multiple options for navigating your routes. To start the navigation, tap on the steering wheel icon next to a stop and select one of the suggested navigation options. Route4Me allows you to use third-party navigation apps and depending on the apps installed on your iPhone the suggestion list may vary. You can learn more about navigating routes on your iPhone here.
