Insert Address Book List Addresses into the Best Routes

With Route4Me dynamic routing optimization capabilities, you can effortlessly insert different addresses into the most time-efficient and cost-effective multi stop routes. Dynamic stop insertion allows you to automate the process of inserting addresses into the most optimal planned routes as well as improve the flexibility and mobility of your route optimization operations. You can easily check how inserting a specific address will affect a particular route and make the most efficient decision respectively. Route4Me provides multiple ways to insert addresses into the best routes for your convenience.

Inserting an Address into the Best Route from Your Routes List

To use the dynamic routing optimization stop insertion and insert an address into the best route from your Routes List, first, go to Routes List from the navigation menu.

Next, click Routes in the toolbar and select Insert Address into Best Route respectively.

Then, in the Location field, input the address that you want to insert into the best optimized route.

After that, in the Scheduled For field, select the date for which the multi stop route(s) into which you want to insert the corresponding address is scheduled.

Then, you can specify on what position you want the corresponding address to go within the route by selecting one of the following options:

• Insert at Optimal Position: The address is inserted at the most optimal position and the entire route is re-optimized accordingly;
• Insert at Optimal Position after Last Visited: The remaining addresses that have not been marked as visited are re-optimized together with the new inserted address;
• Insert at End of Route: The address is inserted as the last stop on the route (not depot);
• Insert at Beginning of Route: The address is inserted as the first stop on the route (not depot).

The dynamic routing optimization system suggests the most efficient routes that are scheduled for the selected date for inserting the corresponding address. Select the planned route into which you want to insert the address from the list.

You can check how the insertion of the address will influence the distance and time of each route provided in the list. The Violation column displays whether any violations of the time windows will occur on the route and how many.

You can also specify additional details of the address that you are inserting into the route (i.e., Revenue, Weight, First Name, Phone, E-mail, etc.). To do so, first, go to the Adjust Location Details tab.

Then, select the items that you want to add to the address from the drop-down lists and define their values in the corresponding fields. Finally, click Proceed to allow the dynamic routing optimization system to insert the address into the most optimal route based on the specified settings.

Once the address is successfully inserted into the best route, the corresponding notification will pop up in the bottom right corner of your Routes List.

Inserting an Address into the Best Route from the Routes Map

To use the dynamic routing optimization stop insertion and insert an address into the best route from the Routes Map, first, go to Routes Map from the navigation menu.

Next, click Routes in the toolbar and select Insert Address into Best Route respectively.

Alternatively, you can right-click on any location on the map and insert it into the best driver route by selecting the corresponding option.

You can also use the dynamic routing optimization stop insertion to insert addresses from your Address Book by selecting them from the map. To do so, first, click Map Settings on the map, and then, check the box next to Address Book to display all contacts from your Address Book on the map.

After that, right-click on the address/contact that you want to insert into the best route, and then, select the corresponding option.

Next, specify the settings of the insertion. First, in the Scheduled For field, select the date for which the route(s) into which you want to insert the corresponding address is scheduled. Then, specify where you want the address to go within the route (start, end, etc.) by selecting one of the corresponding options from the drop-down list. After that, select the route into which you want to insert the address. In the Adjust Location Details tab, specify additional attributes (Revenue, Weight, E-mail, etc.) of the address that you are inserting. Finally, click Proceed to insert the address into the selected route based on the specified settings.

Once the address is successfully inserted into the best route, the corresponding notification will pop up in the bottom right corner of the Routes Map. You can also move stops between multiple routes in real-time using the timeline in the Route4Me Map.

Inserting an Address into the Best Route from Your Address Book

To insert an address into the best route from your Route4Me Address Book, first, go to Address Book from the navigation menu.

Next, right-click on the contact/address that you want to insert into the most optimal route, and then, select the corresponding option from the list.

Next, specify the settings of the insertion. First, in the Scheduled For field, select the date for which the route(s) into which you want to insert the corresponding address is scheduled. Then, specify where you want the address to go within the route (start, end, etc.) by selecting one of the corresponding options from the drop-down list. After that, select the route into which you want to insert the address. In the Adjust Location Details tab, specify additional attributes (Revenue, Weight, E-mail, etc.) of the address that you are inserting. Finally, click Proceed to insert the address into the selected route based on the specified settings.

Once the address is successfully inserted into the most optimal route, the corresponding notification will pop up in the top right corner of your Address Book List.

Inserting an Address into the Best Route from the Address Book Map

To insert an address into the best route from the Address Book Map, first, go to Address Book Map from the navigation menu.

You can use the Search Groups for sorting the contacts and addresses from your Address Book by preferred attributes and display them on the map respectively.

Once the preferred addresses are displayed on the map, right-click on the address that you want to insert into the best route, and then, select the corresponding option from the list.

Next, specify the settings of the insertion. First, in the Scheduled For field, select the date for which the route(s) into which you want to insert the corresponding address is scheduled. Then, specify where you want the address to go within the route (start, end, etc.) by selecting one of the corresponding options from the drop-down list. After that, select the route into which you want to insert the address. In the Adjust Location Details tab, specify additional attributes (Revenue, Weight, E-mail, etc.) of the address that you are inserting. Finally, click Proceed to insert the address into the selected route based on the specified settings.

Once the address is successfully inserted into the most optimal route, the corresponding notification will pop up in the top right corner of the Address Book Map.
