Show Logs Screen – Enabling the Log Files Screen for Route4Me’s Android Route Planner
Route4Me’s Android Route Planner is designed to make your routing operations and transactions as fast and flexible as possible, allowing you to plan, optimize, and navigate routes of any complexity on the go. To make sure that Route4Me’s Android app is running smoothly and efficiently within your organization, you can enable the Logs Screen that shows all system messages, allowing you to detect and report any issues that may occur when using the app. Moreover, developers can also use the “LOG_TAGS” variable for filtering what information is displayed on your Logs Screen.
To enable the Logs Screen for all devices (running Route4Me’s Android app) associated with your Primary Route4Me Account, you need to use Route4Me’s Advanced Configuration Editor for adding and activating the corresponding variable. To use the Advanced Configuration Editor, first, log into your Route4Me account and then open this link. Next, click on the “New Variable” button in the top left corner of the screen to open the Configuration Variable Editor. Once the variable is created, you can manage, disable, or delete it accordingly. To do so, first, click on the gear icon next to this variable and then select the preferred option from its menu.
Once the “SHOW_LOGS_SCREEN” variable is enabled for your Route4Me account, the “Show Logs” button is added to the app’s welcome screen and the “Show Logs” tab is added to the three dots menu in the top right corner of almost all app’s screens accordingly.
