Route Scheduling – Schedule and Reschedule Route Date and Time

When planning routes with Route4Me route optimization software, you can select the preferred route schedules and program your routes to start at a specific date and time.

Setting Route Schedules While Planning Routes

To set up the route’s start time and date while you are planning it, first, go to the Schedule tab.

Next, select the route’s start date from the corresponding calendar.

After that, adjust the route’s start time in the corresponding field.

You can also schedule routes to start at sunrise or at sunset. To do so, first, click on the corresponding icon, after that, input your area code into the Sunrise or Sunset field and then select one of the suggested variants from the list.

You can also adjust the travel time slowdown and service times as you plan your routes.

Rescheduling the Route Opened in the Route Editor

Once the route is planned, it is opened in the Route Editor where you can modify it, as well as added to the Routes List with all your routes. To reschedule the route opened in the Route Editor, first, go to Edit and then select Route Settings from the list.

After that, use the corresponding fields to reschedule the route for the preferred date and time. To apply the changes, click on the Update Route Settings button.

Rescheduling Routes in the Routes List

In the Routes List, use the Scheduled For column to view the schedules of all your routes.

To change the schedule of a particular optimized route in the Routes List, first, click on the gear icon next to the multi stop route that you want to reschedule.

Next, select Change Schedule For Date from the route’s options menu.

After that, use the corresponding calendar to reschedule the optimized route for the preferred date and time. To apply the changes, click on the OK button.

Rescheduling Routes from the Routes Map

To change the schedule of a particular route from the Routes Map, first, click on the gear icon next to the route that you want to reschedule.

Next, select Change Schedule For Date from the route’s options menu.

After that, use the corresponding calendar to reschedule the route for the preferred date and time. To apply the changes, click on the OK button.
