Fuel Consumption and Fuel Costs Route Data Export

Different businesses use different vehicles and vehicle types for accomplishing their goals. Depending on the particular requirements of your business or unique business model, you may have multiple vehicles of different types in your fleet. To help you win the last mile, Route4Me allows you to create a customizable fleet of trucks, cars, vans, trailers, heavy equipment, etc., and effortlessly manage, organize, and coordinate them all using a single interactive control panel (learn more). To give you more visibility into your fleet operations, Route4Me permits you to track and record the fuel consumption and fuel costs of each vehicle in your fleet. Moreover, you can also export your fleet’s fuel consumption and fuel costs data for various purposes. The exported fuel consumption and costs information can be used for analyzing your fleet’s performance, detecting driver idling and route deviations, auditing your fleet expenses, streamlining your vehicle distribution, and much more.

 

To export the fuel consumption and fuel costs data of a particular route, first, open this route in the Routes ListRoutes Map, or the Route Editor. To open a route in the Route Editor, first, go to “Routes List” from the navigation menu and then select the route that you want to open. In the Route Editor of the opened route, you can see the total Fuel Cost of the route in the Summary Table. In the Route Manifest of the opened route, you can view the fuel consumption and fuel costs of visiting each stop on the route. To view the Route Manifest of the route opened in the Route Editor, first, go to “View” and then select “View Manifest” from the menu.

Next, in the “Fuel” tab of the Route Manifest, check the “Fuel from Start” and “Fuel Cost from Start” boxes to display the corresponding columns. In the “Fuel from Start” and “Fuel Cost from Start” columns of the Route Manifest, you can view how much fuel is required for the assigned vehicle to visit each stop on the route and how much it costs. The fuel consumption metrics (“Fuel from Start”) depend on the Fuel Consumption settings of the vehicle that is assigned to the opened route (learn more). The fuel costs data (“Fuel Cost from Start”) depends on the Fuel Costs settings on your Route4Me account (learn more). To export the fuel costs and fuel consumption data of the route opened in the Route Editor, first, go to “File” → Select “Download as” from the menu → Select “Export CSV” → Select the corresponding fuel-related export items.

In the “Export Route Data” window, use the “Field Search” to search for the fuel consumption (Fuel from Start) and fuel costs (Fuel Cost from Start) data.
