Networkfleet provides around-the-clock fleet tracking that allows users to effectively deal with unsafe behaviors and unauthorized actions. For example, you may use such devices and platforms as Verizon Reveal, Fleetmatics Reveal, Verizon Work, Fleetmatics Work, Verizon Reveal Connect, Verizon Connect Reveal, US Fleetmatics, Reveal US Fleetmatics, etc. You can easily connect your Verizon Connect solution to Route4Me and automatically import telematics data into the Route Planning and Optimization software.

Set Up Verizon Connect (Verizon Reveal, Fleetmatics, and Telogis) Integration With Route4Me

To establish a telematics connection and set up your Verizon integration, log into your Route4Me account. Next, go to the “My Account” tab from the navigation menu and then select “Telematics Gateway” respectively.

On the “Telematics Gateway” page, click “Add Telematics Connection” in the top left corner of the screen.

Next, add the name for your Verizon Reveal connection into the corresponding field (i.e., the name of the telematics vendor, etc.).

Then, select “Verison Networkfleet” from the “Telematics Vendor” drop-down menu.

Next, input the credentials to your Networkfleet account into the “User Name” and “Password” fields. Are you looking for your reveal.fleetmatics login? Please contact Verizon Connect support.

After that, specify the preferred Vehicle Position Refresh Rate for the Verizon Reveal connection in the corresponding field.

The Vehicle Position Refresh Rate is the frequency at which Route4Me’s telematics gateway retrieves vehicle tracking data from the corresponding telematics partner. Most telematics vendors receive and store data between 1 and 5 minutes, while other vendors can capture data at a higher frequency. With Route4Me, you are able to set up the preferred Vehicle Position Refresh Rate and extract the tracking data as quickly as every second.

Import Vehicles from Verizon Connet, Verizon Reveal, Fleetmatics, and Telogis

Finally, check the authorization box at the bottom of the window to agree with Route4Me’s Terms and Use policy and then click “Save” to finish. Once you click “Save“, the system will automatically import your vehicles from Verizon Connect, Verizon Reveal, Fleetmatics, or Telogis.

Verizon Reveal Telematics Connection

Once the Verizon Reveal telematics connection is successfully established, it is displayed respectively on the “Telematics Gateway” page. In the “Synced Vehicle Count” column, you can view the percentage of successfully synchronized vehicles. To edit the corresponding connection, click on the gear icon next to it and then select the preferred option.

Once connected, no Fleetmatics login, Fleetmatics Reveal login, Verizon Reveal login, or any other additional logins are required –  Route4Me will automatically import the data from your Verizon Connect solution.

Viewing Your Networkfleet (Verizon Reveal) Vehicles in Your Route4Me Account

After successfully establishing the connection with your Networkfleet account, all vehicles are automatically imported and re-synchronized into your Route4Me account. To access your Verizon Reveal vehicles list, go to the “Team” tab from the navigation menu and then select “Vehicles” respectively.

All imported vehicles become available on the “Vehicles” page in your Route4Me account and can be edited respectively.

You can assign your imported vehicles to already planned routes, as well as to the routes that are being planned.

Track Verizon Reveal Vehicles

The data received from Networkfleet (Track Verizon) is automatically associated with the ID numbers of the corresponding vehicles. You can track the activity of your vehicles in real time using the Route Editor or the Routes Map. To bring up your vehicles’ locations and tracking history on the map, first, click “Tracking“, then hover your mouse cursor over “Route“, and finally, select one of the corresponding timeframes from the list.

When your Verizon Reveal vehicles are out in the field, their tracking data is captured by Networkfleet and sent to Route4Me where it is evaluated and processed. Then, Route4Me automatically associates the data with the corresponding vehicles and provides all available real-time and historical tracking information in the form of statistics, relevant metrics, and actionable intelligence. For your convenience, vehicles’ icons can be changed to the logos of the corresponding telematics vendors (i.e., when you have integrations with multiple telematics vendors).
