Generate Orders from the Route4Me Synced Address Book List

The Address Book is a centralized database of all your contacts and addresses. With Route4Me route optimization software, you can generate delivery orders or any type of orders from the contacts and addresses that are stored in your Address Book to improve your route planning process and make it more flexible. Orders can be used for one-time transactions or visits as well as reused multiple times.

To generate an order from an address or a contact in your Address Book, first, go to Address Book List from the navigation menu.

You can use the search bar in the top left corner of the screen to find the address or contact you need. In your Address Book, Route4Me’s search engine allows you to search by the following fields: Alias, Address, First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, and Custom Data.

Right-click on the address or contact you want to use to create an order and select Generate Order.

When prompted, click Confirm to start editing the order.

First, select the date you want to schedule the order from the calendar or type it manually.

Once you have selected the date, you can click on the eye icon, which is located next to the date tab, in order to check how many other delivery orders are scheduled for the same date in the territory where the order is located.

To add information about the order, select and fill out predefined fields from Additional fields you may want to set up tab.

You can also add custom fields and values to the order. To do so, select the last empty field from the list.

Type in the name of the field and add a value. If needed, repeat the process to add more custom fields.

If you want to delete a field, click on the X icon next to the field you want to remove.

To finish editing the order, click Generate Order.

The order will be automatically added to your Orders List, where you can edit it, insert it into planned routes or optimizations, and perform other actions.
