Add Addresses and Stops to Routes – iPhone Route Planner App

Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner is designed to make your routing operations and transactions as fast and flexible as possible, allowing you to effortlessly plan, optimize, and navigate routes of any complexity on the go. To make sure that you are always prepared for any unpredictable last-minute changes, Route4Me’s iPhone app allows you to add new addresses to your planned routes at any time using multiple methods. Moreover, with Route4Me’s near real-time data synchronization across all associated computer and mobile devices, dispatchers and managers back at the office can add addresses to planned routes from the Route4Me Web Platform and the corresponding routes can be instantly updated on the field employees’ mobile devices that are running Route4Me’s Android and iOS mobile apps.

To add one or multiple addresses to an already planned route, first, open this route by going to “Routes” from the navigation menu and selecting the preferred route from your Routes List.

Next, to add addresses to the opened planned route, tap on the plus icon in the top right corner of the screen and then select the preferred option for adding addresses to the route.

To manually add an address to the route, first, select “Add New” on the “Add Address” screen. Next, input the full or partial address into the “Address” field and then select one of the suggested geocoded and corrected variants accordingly.

After that, add an alias to the address using the corresponding field (optional), adjust the preferred “Service Time” for the address, and then tap on the “Add” button in the top right corner of the screen to add the address to the route.

To add an address from the Favorites to the route, first, choose the “Select from Favorites” option on the “Add Address” screen and then select the preferred address from your favorite addresses. To learn more about creating and managing your Favorites addresses, visit this page.

After that, add an alias to the address using the corresponding field (optional), adjust the preferred “Service Time” for the address, and then tap on the “Add” button in the top right corner of the screen to add the address to the route.

To add an address from the Recents (recently used) to the route, first, choose the “Select from Recents” option on the “Add Address” screen and then select the preferred address from the list of the recently used addresses.

After that, add an alias to the address using the corresponding field (optional), adjust the preferred “Service Time” for the address, and then tap on the “Add” button in the top right corner of the screen to add the address to the route.

To add an address from the contacts on your iPhone to the route, first, choose the “Select from Contacts” option on the “Add Address” screen and then select the preferred contact accordingly. Next, tap on the available address associated with the selected contact to add it to the route.

After that, select one of the suggested geocoded and corrected variants accordingly. Next, add an alias to the address using the corresponding field (optional), adjust the preferred “Service Time” for the address, and then tap on the “Add” button in the top right corner of the screen to add the address to the route.

To add an address or contact from your Route4Me Address Book to the route, first, choose the “Add from Synced Address Book” option on the “Add Address” screen. After that, select one or multiple addresses from your Route4Me Synced Address Book and then tap on the “Done” button to add the selected addresses to the route.

To use your current location as the start or end stop for the route, select one of the preferred options on the “Add Address” screen accordingly.

When adding a new address to a planned route, the address is added to the route as the last stop on this route.

To optimize the route and place the newly added addresses at the most optimal sequence positions, tap on the “Replan Route” button and then confirm when prompted.

Once the route is optimized, all newly added addresses are automatically placed at the most optimal positions based on the predefined optimization settings.

Route4Me provides near real-time data synchronization across all associated computer and mobile devices so that whenever you add new addresses to a particular route using Route4Me’s iOS and Android mobile apps, this route can be automatically updated on the Route4Me Web Platform and vice versa.
