Edit Orders on the Route Planning Orders Map

Route4Me is compatible with such e-commerce platforms as ShopifyMagentoWooCommerce, BigCommerce, osCommerce, Squarespace, Volusion, and other resources that are widely used by many businesses for supporting their e-commerce sites. To make your routing operations and logistics transactions as easy and fast as possible, Route4Me enables you to effortlessly import all your orders from various e-commerce platforms and use them for planning efficient and optimized routes. Moreover, you can also generate and edit your orders right on the interactive map. Generating and modifying orders using the map enables you to get a visual overview of your customers’ spatial arrangement, improve your routing patterns, and make your logistics transactions more strategical.

 

To edit your imported or existing orders using the Orders Map, first, go to “Orders” from the navigation menu.

Next, go to the Orders Map by clicking on the globe icon in the top right corner of the screen.

After that, use the calendar to display on the map all orders that are scheduled within the preferred time interval. Alternatively, you can use the search to find orders by their corresponding attributes (Alias, First Name, E-mail, etc.).

To edit a particular order, first, right-click on it and then select “Edit Order” from its menu. You can learn more about bulk editing multiple orders on this page.

In the “Edit Order” window, you can update the order’s address using the corresponding field. When you input a partial or incorrect address, the system automatically geocodes it and suggests one or multiple valid variants of the address.

After that, you can use the calendar to re-schedule the order for another date.

In the “Alias” field, you can edit the internal custom-defined name of the order. When creating a new alias for an order, make sure that it is easily searchable and identifiable.

After that, you can change the icon that represents the order on the map, as well as the order’s color.

In the “Location Details” tab, you can edit all available contact information of the prospect associated with the order using the corresponding fields. To edit the existing or add new custom data to the order, first, click on the “Edit Custom Data” button in the “Location Details” tab.

In the “User-Defined Fields” tab, you can select or deselect custom created statuses for the order by checking or unchecking the corresponding boxes. To learn more about creating and managing “User-Defined Fields,” visit this page.
