User Custom Data – Add Additional Information to Team Members

Route4Me enables you to create an organized and easily manageable network of managers, route planners, dispatchers, drivers, and other team members. Depending on your specific last-mile routing needs and unique business model, each user can have default or customized account-level permissions, route visibility, driver and vehicle access across the Route4Me Last Mile Optimization Platform.

Furthermore, you can easily attach any type of information to your team members’ user accounts. Specifically, if the information you want to add to a user profile doesn’t fit into the reserved Route4Me fields, you can attach this information as Custom Data.

Add Custom Data When Creating New Users

To add and manage your users, go to “Team” and then select “Users” in the navigation menu. On your “Team Members” screen, you can see and manage the list of all users available on your Route4Me account. Similarly, other users can see and manage the sub-users that are branched under them. To create a new user, click on the “Create Users” button. Alternatively, click on the three-dot menu icon next to an existing user and then select “Add Sub-User” from the menu. Additionally, you can learn how to create new users manually and bulk import multiple new users.

Next, scroll to the “Custom Data” section. To attach a new Custom Data entry to the user’s profile, click on the “Add Custom Data” button. After that, add the preferred Field Name and the respective Custom Data. Once you add a Custom Data entry, you can change its data, but you can’t change its Field Name. Therefore, if you want to change the Field Name, you can create a new entry. You can attach multiple Custom Data entries to one user profile.

Add and Manage Custom Data Attached to Existing Users

Furthermore, you can check, add, and manage the Custom Data of existing users. To do so, click on the three-dot menu icon and then select “Edit” from the menu. Additionally, you can learn more about editing team member user accounts.

Next, go to the “Custom Data” tab, where you can check, add, and manage the Custom Data of the opened user. To add new Custom Data to the user, click on the “Add Custom Data” button and then add the preferred data. Once you add a Custom Data entry, you can change its data, but you can’t change its Field Name. To delete a Custom Data entry, click on the X icon next to the entry you want to remove.
