Inserting your Orders into Planned Routes on an iPad
With Route4Me’s iPad app you can insert orders into planned routes. It allows you to add addresses or stops from your Orders List to already planned routes and make your route planning process more flexible and responsive to different situations.
Current routes are the routes that are currently open on your iPhone.
First, open the route into which you want to insert in order to make it a current route. Current routes are the routes that are currently open on your iPad or any other device.
Before you can insert an order into the current route, you need to add this order to the “Favorites.” To do so, in the Orders List, tap on the order that you want to add to the “Favorites.”
In the “Edit Order” screen, tap on the start symbol and when it turns yellow the order will be added to the “Favourites.”
To access your “Favourites” screen, tap on the corresponding icon in the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen.
In the “Favourites”, tap on the order that you want to insert into the current route.
In the top right corner of the “Edit Address” screen, tap on the icon that resembles a stop being inserted into a route.
Confirm that you want to insert the order into the current route when prompted.
Once the order has been successfully inserted into the current route, a corresponding notification will pop up at the bottom of the screen.
You can view the inserted order in the “Destinations” screen.
The inserted order will be placed as the last stop on the route. To Re-optimize the route and get the most efficient sequence of destinations, tap “Replan Route” in the top left corner of the “Destinations” screen.
