Auto Dispatch: Assign Users And Vehicles To Recurring Routes

Route4Me’s recurring route auto dispatch allows you to automatically send Recurring Routes generated on the web-based route scheduling software straight to Android and iOS driver mobile apps. Drivers can then open and navigate dispatched recurring routes on their smartphones. Route4Me’s Mobile Route Planner apps are designed for various types of field operations, from route voice-guided navigation to collecting electronic proof of delivery.
You can assign users and vehicles to Master Routes right from the Recurring Schedule or when editing individual Master Routes. To set up Recurring Routing auto route dispatch on Route4Me route scheduling software, first, go to Recurring Schedule from the navigation menu to open the list of all Master Routes in your account.
To edit a Master Route Schedule, click on the Three Dots Menu Icon next to the preferred Master Route and then select Edit Schedule from the menu.
Next, assign the preferred user and vehicle to the opened Master Route Schedule. Click on the Save button to apply the changes and update all existing Recurring Routes.
To assign a user to a Master Route from the Recurring Schedule, click on the Three Dots Menu Icon next to the preferred Master Route and select Assign User from the menu. Next, select the preferred user from the list of all users in your account. After assigning a new user to a Master Route, make sure to update this Master Route’s Schedule for the changes to take effect.
To assign a vehicle to a Master Route from the Recurring Schedule, click on the Three Dots Menu Icon next to the preferred Master Route and select Assign Vehicle from the menu. Next, select the preferred vehicle from your Route4Me fleet. After assigning a new vehicle to a Master Route, make sure to update this Master Route’s Schedule for the changes to take effect.
After assigning a new user and/or new vehicle and updating the given Master Route Schedule, all Recurring Routes will be automatically dispatched to the assigned driver and/or route vehicle.
NOTE: When you update a Master Route Schedule, all previously created Recurring Routes are automatically deleted and replaced by new Recurring Routes based on the new Master Route Schedule settings.
