End Anywhere Route Optimization – Android Route Planner App

Route4Me’s Android Route Planner is designed to make your routing operations and transactions as fast and flexible as possible, allowing you to plan, optimize, and navigate routes of any complexity on the go. For maximum productivity and efficiency, Route4Me’s Android app provides multiple options for optimizing your routes. The End Anywhere optimization type allows you to optimize routes with the most efficient and cost-effective stops sequences where the last destination on the route is automatically selected by the app. Moreover, you will also get the most optimal turn-by-turn driving and navigation directions that will allow you to always complete your routes on time and leave your customers more satisfied.

To plan a new route with the End Anywhere optimization type, first, go to “My Routes” from the navigation menu and then tap on the “Add Route” button at the bottom of the screen. Next, select the “End Anywhere” optimization type and then fill out the rest of the route’s settings to your preference (learn more).

After specifying the route’s settings, you need to set up the departure address from which the route will start. To do so, tap on the “Add Destination” button and then add the departure address using the preferred method.

After adding the departure address, you need to add or import the addresses that you want to use for planning and optimizing the new route. To import addresses from your device, Google Drive, or Dropbox in CSV or XLS format, first, go to the “Import” tab and then select the preferred import option accordingly. To learn more about adding addresses manually, visit this page. Once you added the addresses that you want to include into the route, tap on the “Optimize” button to plan and optimize the route.

Once the route is planned and optimized with the End Anywhere optimization type, this route will start from the predefined departure address, and after the route’s start, all addresses will be placed in the most efficient and cost-effective sequence, including the automatically selected end destination.

When using the End Anywhere optimization type, the optimized route starts from the predefined departure address, and all addresses that had been added or imported into the route in random order are optimized and automatically sequenced for the most optimal distance and travel time. In addition to that, the End Anywhere optimization type also automatically selects the most optimal address to end the route.

Comparing Alternative Optimization Types (End Anywhere vs. Disable Optimization – End Anywhere)

The End Anywhere optimization type allows you to plan routes with the most optimally sequenced addresses that start from any custom-defined departure address. Alternatively, when planning End Anywhere routes with Disabled Optimization, you can set up a custom sequence of stops for your routes and manually select the last (end) destinations. To plan a new End Anywhere route with Disabled Optimization, select the “Disable Optimization – End Anywhere” optimization type when specifying the route’s settings. The “Unsynced” icons next to route stops indicate that the route hasn’t been planned or that your device is disconnected from the Internet

Once the route is planned, this route will have the exact same sequence of stops as the corresponding addresses that had been imported or added to the route before it was planned.

When planning routes with the End Anywhere optimization type, you will get noticeably different results from when you plan End Anywhere routes with Disabled Optimization. Depending on the specific routing requirements of your business activities, you may want to have custom stops sequences on your routes, or you may want to have your Route4Me Android app do all the route planning and optimization for you. Route4Me’s Android Route Planner allows you to add or import hundreds of thousands of addresses into the app and get the most cost-effective and efficient routes with the automatically determined last address.
