Open and View Address Book Addresses – Android Route Planner

The primary goal of the Route4Me Android Route Planner is to make your routing activities more flexible and profitable by enabling you to plan and optimize multi stop routes on the go. Route4Me’s Address Book is a centralized database of all contacts and addresses that are stored on your Route4Me account. All contacts added or modified from any authorized device are instantly synchronized and displayed in your Address Book and can be easily accessed using the Route4Me Android route planner app.

 

Viewing the List of All Address Book Contacts

To open the list of all contacts, go to Address Book from the navigation menu.

Use the search bar at the top of the screen to navigate through the contacts and customer addresses in your Address Book. You can search for contacts by aliases, full or partial address names, custom data, etc.

To view the details of a particular contact, first, tap on the corresponding contact in the Address Book.

Then, select View Contact from the contact’s Choose Action menu.

When viewing the contact’s information, you cannot modify it. To view the opened contact on the map, tap on the checkmark icon in the top right corner of the screen.

To return to the Address Book, tap on the back icon in the top left corner of the screen.

Viewing Your Contacts on the Map

To view the contacts from your Address Book on the map, first, go to Address Book from the navigation menu.

Next, tap Address Book Map at the bottom of the screen.

Address Book Map displays all contacts stored in your Route4Me Address Book. The contacts that are located in close proximity to each other are automatically grouped into clusters for your convenience. The clusters are displayed in random colors for easier differentiation. Each cluster has a number that indicates how many contacts it contains.

To view the contacts in a particular cluster, tap on the corresponding cluster several times until you zoom in enough to view separately located contacts. Alternatively, use the pinch-to-zoom gesture to zoom in on a particular cluster and view the contacts in it.

Tap on the icon of any contact on the map to view its address and other details.

To view more detailed data of the selected contact, tap on the information icon next to the contact’s address.

When viewing the contact’s information, you cannot modify it. To go back to the Address Book Map, tap on the checkmark icon in the top right corner of the screen.
