Schedule and Reschedule Routes – Android Route Planner
Route4Me’s Android Route Planner is designed to make your routing operations and transactions as fast and flexible as possible, allowing you to effortlessly plan, optimize, and navigate routes of any complexity on the go. Once you plan a new route and schedule it for a particular date and time, you can always re-schedule this route with a touch of a button and Route4Me will automatically update this route on all associated devices. Thus, if you use your Route4Me Android app for changing the schedule of the route that you assigned to your team member, this route will be automatically updated on this user’s device in near real-time. Scheduling Routes When Planning
To plan a new route and schedule it for any preferred date and time, first, go to “My Routes” from the navigation menu.
Next, tap on the “Add Route” button, specify the route’s settings and then schedule the route for any preferred date and time using the “Start Time” calendar. Then, tap on the checkmark icon in the top right corner of the screen to save the route. After that, add addresses to the route and then optimize it. Once the route is planned, the route’s start date and time are displayed under its name in your Routes List.

Rescheduling Planned and Optimized Routes (From the Routes List)
To change the schedule of a particular planned route from your Routes List, on the “My Routes” screen, first, tap on the route that you want to reschedule and then select “Change Schedule” from the route’s menu.
Next, select the preferred start date and time for the route using the calendar and then tap “OK” to apply the changes. Once the route is rescheduled, you can view the new start date and time of this route under the route’s name on the “My Routes” screen.
Rescheduling the Currently Opened Route
To change the start date and time of the current route, first, open this route by going to “My Routes” from the navigation menu, tapping on the route that you want to open and then selecting “Open Route” from the menu.
To reschedule the opened route, first, tap on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen. Next, tap on the “Start Time” calendar and then select the preferred date and time for the route respectively.
To apply the schedule changes and go back to the route, tap on the back arrow icon in the top left corner of the screen. After that, you can view the new schedule of the route in the “Scheduled For” field.
Route4Me provides near real-time data synchronization across all associated computer and mobile devices so that whenever you reschedule a particular route using Route4Me’s iOS and Android mobile apps, the corresponding route can be automatically updated with the new schedule on the Route4Me Web Platform and vice versa.
