Optimization4Me – Operational Assessment User Guide for Route4Me Affiliates
Optimization4Me is designed to transform your customers’ raw telematics data into actionable savings. To achieve that, Optimization4Me will analyze any amount of your customers’ operational data, uncover the potential of optimization, and propose dynamically optimized solutions. A picture is worth a thousand words – showing your customers their own real figures on how much they can save by optimizing their own routing operations is a hundred times more effective than just telling them about some potential benefits somewhere in the future. That being said, conducting a traditional return on investment (ROI) analysis for each customer is often extremely time-consuming and expensive. With Route4Me’s OA Tool, you can set it all on autopilot and frictionlessly get actionable intelligence that will help you to close your sales faster and easier.
For example, a food delivery company has 50 vehicles in their fleet, and they deliver food to 1000 customers every day. Without proper optimization of their fleet, team, routing and logistics operations, they might be losing hundreds of dollars on each route everyday. To analyze a single route, you would need to export the customer’s GPS telematics data from their system, import it into your optimization platform, analyze the imported data to detect route stops, depot(s), driving directions, and other route and vehicle parameters. After that, you would need to optimize the detected route for the most efficient results, and finally, create a presentation with the “before optimization” versus “after optimization” figures and visuals. Repeating the same process with each route of all your customers can add up and take hundreds of hours of your team’s time and operational resources. Route4Me’s Operational Assessment Tool will allow you to connect all of your customers’ telematics accounts to your OA account with just a touch of the button and effortlessly automate the process of telematics data import. Next, all imported fleet tracking data will be automatically processed and used for creating a hyper-personalized Operational Assessment reports with “Before” and “After” Business Savings Summaries, Interactive Dashboards, Vehicle Maps, and other tools that will help you WOW your customers and close your sales more effectively and with much quicker results.
Participants and Telematics Connections Management
An Affiliate is a Route4Me partner who has the Route4Me Operational Assessment (OA) system integrated into their business or organization for analyzing their customers’ telematics data or a reseller who rebrands Route4Me’s services and offers them to end-users, as well as uses the Route4Me OA system for attracting new customers by showing them the value of optimization. Participants are the customers (companies/businesses) or end-users who are associated with the given Route4Me Affiliate. As a Route4Me Affiliate, you can create and manage multiple Participants within your organization/OA account. All Participants associated with your OA account can import vehicle and routing data into their OA accounts by establishing a Telematics Connection between their OA account and Telematics Vendor account (learn more).
Operational Assessment Affiliate Dashboard
As a Route4Me Affiliate, in your Affiliate Dashboard, you can view, track, and manage all Participants associated with your OA Affiliate account. The Affiliate Dashboard provides a summarised overview of your Participants’ imported telematics data and allows you to view and open your Participants’ Operational Assessment summaries, Participant Reports, System Status, and more.
In your Participants’ OA Reports, you can view their Business (Savings) Summary, detected and generated routes, Routing Savings Summary, and more. All routing data displayed in your Participants’ OA Reports is divided into three categories: Actual (Baseline), As-Is, and Optimized. Your Participants’ Actual (Baseline) data is the raw tracking data imported from the Participants’ Telematics Connections established between the given Participants and these Participants’ Telematics Vendors through the Route4Me Telematics Gateway. The As-Is and Optimized data is the Participants’ telematics tracking data that is partially or fully optimized by the OA system to show the potential Savings these Participants can get by optimizing their routes.
In the Business Summary section of your Participants’ Reports, you can see the total figures on how the Participants’ Actual (Baseline) telematics data was processed by the Route4Me OA to produce the As-Is and Optimized data.
In the Route Summary section of your Participants’ Reports, you can view how your Participants’ raw tracking data was processed by the Route4Me OA to detect and generate the Actual (Baseline), As-Is, and Optimized routes. Your Participants’ Actual (Baseline) data is the raw tracking data imported from the Participants’ Telematics Connections established between the given Participants and these Participants’ Telematics Vendors through the Route4Me Telematics Gateway. The As-Is and Optimized data is your Participants’ telematics tracking data that is partially or fully optimized by the Route4Me OA to show the potential Savings these Participants can get by optimizing their routes. Thus, in the Route Summary, you can see how your Participants’ routes were completed in real-life and compare them with the optimized routes generated by the OA system. To learn more about exporting your Participants’ Route Summary data, visit this page.
On your Affiliate Vehicles Map, you can see all vehicles of all Participants associated with your OA Affiliate account. Your Participants’ tracking and vehicle data is imported through the Telematics Connections established between the given Participants and these Participants’ Telematics Vendors through the Route4Me Telematics Gateway. Once a particular Participant associated with your OA account establishes a Telematics Connection with their Telematics Vendor, tracking data from the Participant’s Telematics Connection will start being imported into this Participant’s OA account and you will be able to see this Participant’s imported tracking and vehicle data on your Affiliate Vehicles Map accordingly.
System Activities – Activity Feed
In the Activity Feed (Activities) of your OA Affiliate account, you can see the backlog of all system transactions, sessions, and activities executed within your organization by all Participants associated with your OA Affiliate account. For more convenience, you can filter your System Activities by date, activity type, Participant, and other parameters.
In the System Status of your OA Affiliate account, you can see the live status on how the telematics data of all Participants associated with your OA account is imported into the system.
