How to Install the Route4Me for Gmail App

Installing the Route4Me for Gmail app is super easy – just hit the Add to Chrome button on the Route4Me for Gmail page in the Chrome Extension Store. Once installed, log into the Route4Me for Gmail app with your Route4Me Web Account, and you will have one-click access to all your routes, team members, vehicles, and much more.

Log into the Route4Me for Gmail Chrome Extension

After installing the Route4Me for Gmail Chrome Extension, you can log into the app with your Route4Me account. To bring up the app in your Gmail, first, click on the Route4Me Logo in the Gmail Apps Side Panel on the right. Next, log into Route4Me for Gmail with your Route4Me Web Account credentials (email and password).

Once logged in, use the Route4Me Gmail Extension navigation menu to access and use various Route4Me features. The app’s navigation menu is designed to provide an already familiar and convenient user interface of the Route4Me Web Platform.

NOTE: The Current Version of the Route4Me for Gmail app doesn’t provide full access to all Route4Me Web Platform capabilities. Therefore, some features may not be available in Gmail and can only be used on the Route4Me Web Platform.

Access Your Planned & Scheduled Routes in the Gmail App

To access your Route4Me planned and scheduled routes in the Route4Me Gmail App, go to Routes List from the app’s navigation menu. In the Routes List, you can view and open all routes that are synced with your Route4Me Web Account.

In the Gmail Routes List, you can also see your routes’ details, such as the assigned users, assigned vehicle, route distance and time, route progress, etc. You can also search for routes by route name and filter routes by date.

View Route Details & Route Progress in the Gmail Plugin

To view the details of a planned route in the Route4Me Google Plugin, click on the preferred route in the Routes List. Once the route is opened in the Route4Me Chrome Plugin, you can view the route’s scheduled date, the number of stops, route distance, assigned driver or user, route progress, and more.

To open the selected route in the Route4Me Chrome Plugin, click on the Open Route button on the route’s details screen. After opening the route, you can view the route’s stops, route notes, and check visited and departed destinations.

To view the details of a particular route destination, click on the preferred destination on the opened route. In the Stop Manifest of the opened destination, you can see the destination’s address details, order information, customer details, Planned, Predicted, and Actual arrival times, and more.

Open Routes on Route4Me Web Platform from the Google Chrome App

To make route edits and advanced route modifications, or see more details about any route that you open in the Route4Me Google Chrome App, you can open this route on the Route4Me Web Platform. To open a Gmail route on the Route4Me Web Platform, after you open the route’s destinations list, click on the Open Route in Web button at the top. After that, the selected route will be automatically opened in the Route4Me Web Route Editor, where you can manage and modify it.
