Flexible Start Time – Automatic Route Start Time Scheduling with Time Windows

Route4Me’s Flexible Start Time enables you to automatically schedule routes with Time Windows for the most optimal start time. In detail, the Time Windows on your route stops start and end at a specific time. Route4Me automatically sequences addresses with Time Windows in the most optimal visitation order, where each address can be visited within its respective timeframe. Furthermore, Route4Me can automatically schedule your planned routes for the most optimal start time within the Flexible Start Time timeframe, accounting for the available Time Windows.

Optimization Profiles – Flexible Route Start Time Settings

For your convenience and efficiency, you can set up custom Flexible Start Time in your Optimization Profiles. This way, you can easily re-use your Optimization Profiles to plan new routes that will be scheduled within the same Flexible Start Time timeframe. First, go to “Routes” and then “Optimization Profiles” in the main menu. Next, you can add Flexible Start Time to new Optimization Profiles or to your existing Optimization Profiles. To create a new Optimization Profile, click on the “Create New Profile” button. To edit an existing Optimization Profile, click on the three-dot menu icon next to the preferred profile and then select “Edit” from the menu.

Next, go to the “General” tab and then to the “Start Time” section of the Optimization Profile. After that, enable “Flexible Start Time” by switching on the respective toggle. Next, you can specify the preferred “Earliest Start Time” and “Latest Start Time” in the respective fields. Finally, finish creating or editing the profile and save the changes.

After that, you can use your Optimization Profile with enabled Flexible Start Time for planning and scheduling routes. Accordingly, when you use this Optimization Profile, Route4Me will automatically plan and schedule your routes for the most optimal start time within the specified “Earliest Start Time” and “Latest Start Time” timeframe.

Route and Optimization Settings – Flexible Route Start Time

Furthermore, you can add custom Flexible Start Time when planning a new route and manually specifying your route settings. First, go to “Routes” and then “Plan New Route” in the main menu. Next, select the preferred method for adding and importing addresses (Interactive Map Editor, Copy and Paste, Upload a File, or Import Data).

Next, click on the “Skip” button to skip selecting an Optimization Profile and proceed to manually specify custom settings.

Next, go to the “Schedule” tab and then enable “Flexible Start Time” by checking the respective checkbox. After that, you can specify the preferred “Earliest Start Time” and “Latest Start Time” in the respective fields. After that, customize the other preferred route and optimization settings and proceed to plan and optimize the routes. Accordingly, Route4Me will automatically plan and schedule your routes for the most optimal start time within the specified Flexible Start Time timeframe.

Optimizations – Flexible Route Start Time Settings

Moreover, you can add custom Flexible Start Time to your Account Optimization and re-optimize planned routes. First, go to “Routes” and then “Optimization” in the main menu. Next, click on the three-dot menu icon next to the preferred route optimization and then select “Edit” from the menu.

After that, go to the “Settings” tab and then enable the “Flexible Start Time” checkbox. Next, you can specify the preferred “Earliest Start Time” and “Latest Start Time” in the respective fields. Finally, click on the “Re-Optimize Now” button to apply the changes and re-optimize linked routes with enabled Flexible Start Time.
