Optimization4Me User Guide for Route4Me Affiliates

Optimization4Me is designed to transform your customers’ raw telematics data into actionable savings. To achieve that, Optimization4Me will analyze any amount of your customers’ operational data, uncover the potential of optimization, and propose dynamically optimized solutions. A picture is worth a thousand words – showing your customers their own real figures on how much they can save by optimizing their own routing operations is a hundred times more effective than just telling them about some potential benefits somewhere in the future. That being said, conducting a traditional return on investment (ROI) analysis for each customer is often extremely time-consuming and expensive. With Route4Me’s OA Tool, you can set it all on autopilot and frictionlessly get actionable intelligence that will help you to close your sales faster and easier.

For example, a food delivery company has 50 vehicles in their fleet, and they deliver food to 1000 customers every day. Without proper optimization of their fleet, team, routing and logistics operations, they might be losing hundreds of dollars on each route everyday. To analyze a single route, you would need to export the customer’s GPS telematics data from their system, import it into your optimization platform, analyze the imported data to detect route stops, depot(s), driving directions, and other route and vehicle parameters. After that, you would need to optimize the detected route for the most efficient results, and finally, create a presentation with the “before optimization” versus “after optimization” figures and visuals. Repeating the same process with each route of all your customers can add up and take hundreds of hours of your team’s time and operational resources. Route4Me’s Operational Assessment Tool will allow you to connect all of your customers’ telematics accounts to your OA account with just a touch of the button and effortlessly automate the process of telematics data import. Next, all imported fleet tracking data will be automatically processed and used for creating a hyper-personalized Operational Assessment reports with “Before” and “After” Business Savings Summaries, Interactive Dashboards, Vehicle Maps, and other tools that will help you WOW your customers and close your sales more effectively and with much quicker results.

Participants and Telematics Connections Management

An Affiliate is a Route4Me partner who has the Route4Me Operational Assessment (OA) system integrated into their business or organization for analyzing their customers’ telematics data or a reseller who rebrands Route4Me’s services and offers them to end-users, as well as uses the Route4Me OA system for attracting new customers by showing them the value of optimization. Participants are the customers (companies/businesses) or end-users who are associated with the given Route4Me Affiliate. As a Route4Me Affiliate, you can create and manage multiple Participants within your organization/OA account. All Participants associated with your OA account can import vehicle and routing data into their OA accounts by establishing a Telematics Connection between their OA account and Telematics Vendor account (learn more).

Your Participants’ Actual (Baseline) data is the raw tracking data imported from the Participants’ Telematics Connections established between the given Participants and these Participants’ Telematics Vendors through the Route4Me Telematics Gateway. The As-Is and Optimized data is the Participants’ telematics tracking data that is partially or fully optimized by the OA system to show the potential Savings these Participants can get by optimizing their routes.
