iOS Disable Optimization (End Anywhere) – Planning End Anywhere Routes With Disabled Optimization Using Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner

Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner is designed to make your routing operations and transactions as fast and flexible as possible, allowing you to effortlessly plan, optimize, and navigate routes of any complexity on the go. To accommodate the specific requirements of your industry or unique business model, Route4Me’s iOS Route Planner supports multiple types of route optimization. Planning End Anywhere routes with Disabled Optimization gives you full control over the sequence of stops in your routes and allows you to define the destinations from which your routes start and where your routes end. In addition to that, the End Anywhere routing with Disabled Optimization provides the most optimal turn-by-turn driving and navigation directions for visiting all destinations on your routes in the most efficient way possible.

To plan a new End Anywhere route with Disabled Optimization, first, go to “Routes” from the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen and then tap on the “Add New Route” button. To plan a new route and add new addresses, select the “Set Brand New Route” option. To learn more about using the addresses from the current route for planning a new route, visit this page. Next, select the “Disable Optimization – End Anywhere” optimization type and then fill out the rest of the route’s settings to your preference (learn more).

After adding the route’s start address, you can add or import the addresses that you want to include into the route. To do so, tap on the “Add Another Destination” button and then add or import addresses into the route using the preferred method. To learn more about all available address addition and import methods on Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner, visit this page. After adding the preferred addresses into the route, tap on the “Plan Route” button to plan the route.

Once the route is planned, this route will start from the predefined departure address and all addresses after the route’s departure address will be placed in the exact same sequence as they had been imported or added to the route before it was planned (including the end destination on the route).

When planning End Anywhere routes with Disabled Optimization, Route4Me’s iOS Route Planner plans a new route with the exact same sequence of stops as they had been added or imported into the route before this route was planned. Thus, when you disable the optimization, you can define any preferred custom sequence of stops for your routes.

Comparing Alternative Optimization Types (Disable Optimization – End Anywhere vs. End Anywhere)

The End Anywhere routing with Disabled Optimization allows you to predefine any preferred custom sequence of stops for your planned routes, including the last destination. Alternatively, the End Anywhere optimization type takes all imported or added addresses and places them into the most efficient visitation sequence with the most optimal final destination. To use the End Anywhere optimization, select the “End Anywhere” optimization type when specifying the route’s settings. Once the route is planned, this route will start from the predefined departure address (depot), have the most efficient sequence of stops, and end at the most optimal destination.

When you use the End Anywhere optimization type, Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner automatically sequences all imported or added addresses in such a way that the final optimized route starts from the custom-defined departure address, has the most efficient sequence of stops, and ends at the most optimal destination, regardless of the order in which addresses were added or imported into the route.

When you plan End Anywhere routes with Disabled Optimization, you will get different results from when you optimize routes using the End Anywhere optimization type that allows Route4Me’s iOS Route Planner to automatically determine the most efficient sequence of destinations and the most optimal address to end the route. Depending on the particular requirements of your unique business, you may need to plan optimized routes or have full control over the sequence of stops in your routes. With Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner, you can use the End Anywhere routing with Disabled Optimization that allows you to define any preferred custom sequence of stops for your routes and manually select the last destination.
