GitHub Authentication – Registration and Account Sign-In
GitHub provides hosting for software development version control using Git, as well as offers all available distributed version control and source code management (SCM) functionalities of Git. Moreover, GitHub is used by hundreds of thousands of developers as a code sharing and publishing service, as well as a social networking site for programmers. For maximum convenience, you and your developer team members can effortlessly register a new Route4Me account using your existing GitHub account with just the touch of a button and fill out your account information later (learn more).
To assemble your own custom solution before registering a new Route4Me account with your GitHub account, first, go to the Route4Me Marketplace from the front page.
Next, navigate through the Marketplace using the menu on the left and add the modules that you want to include into your subscription plan.
After assembling your custom solution, click on the “Try Now for Free” button to proceed.
Alternatively, you can register a new Route4Me account and then select one of the pre-assembled and goal-specific packages. To do so, go directly to the main “Sign Up” page from the front page.
To register a new Route4Me account using your existing GitHub account, on the registration page, select the “GitHub” option accordingly.
Next, sign into your GitHub account using the corresponding credentials.
After that, input the phone number that you want to use for verification into the corresponding field and then enter the received verification code to finish.
Once registered, if you didn’t customize your subscription using the Marketplace, you can select one of the pre-assembled packages. To do so, first, open the preferred category.
After that, select the preferred package accordingly.
With Route4Me, whether you create a custom Marketplace solution before the registration or select a particular feature-package after the registration, you can effortlessly re-customize your subscription at any time using the Feature Manager (learn how).
When you register a new Route4Me account with your GitHub account, this Route4Me account is linked to your GitHub account accordingly. Thus, when logging into your Route4Me account, select the “GitHub” option on the main sign-in page for quick authentication. If you want to create a new password for your Route4Me account so that you can sign in with your email address, you need to reset your password in the Route4Me Account Settings accordingly (learn how).
