Thus, depending on your particular business needs or unique business model, you can embed a link to your company’s website, business blog, pricing page, upgrade page, or virtually any other page that will help you to meet your business goals.

To enable the Custom Content URL for all devices (running Route4Me’s Android app) associated with your Primary Route4Me Account, you need to use Route4Me’s Advanced Configuration Editor for adding and activating the corresponding variable. To use the Advanced Configuration Editor, first, log into your Route4Me account and then open this link. Next, click on the “New Variable” button in the top left corner of the screen to open the Configuration Variable Editor. To learn more about using Route4Me’s Advanced Configuration Editor, visit this page.

In the Configuration Variable Editor, fill out the available fields with the following:

  • Key: “CUSTOM_CONTENT_URL”;
  • Value: Input the URL of the web page that you want to embed into the “About” screen on Route4Me’s Android Route Planner.

Click on the “Save” button to save and enable the variable for your entire Route4Me account.

Once the variable is created, you can manage, disable, or delete it accordingly. To do so, first, click on the gear icon next to this variable and then select the preferred option from its menu.

Once the Custom Content URL variable is enabled for your account, the “About” tab is added to the navigation menu on all devices (running Route4Me’s Android Route Planner) associated with your Route4Me account. Thus, when your partners or the team members associated with your Route4Me account go to the “About” screen from the navigation menu, they will be able to view and interact with the embedded link accordingly.
