Editing Your Address Book Contacts on an Android Device
Route4Me’s Address Book is a centralized database of all contacts and addresses that are stored on your account. You can easily modify the contacts in your Address Book using your Android device. Being able to effortlessly edit your customers’ information on the go allows you to increase the mobility and flexibility of your business activities. All contacts added or modified from any authorized device are instantly synchronized across all other associated devices and become available in your Address Book respectively.
Editing Contacts in the Address Book
To open the list of all your contacts, go to “Address Book” from the navigation menu.
Use the search bar at the top of the screen to navigate through the contacts in your Address Book. You can search for contacts by aliases, full or partial address names, custom data, etc.
To edit the details of a particular contact, first, tap on the corresponding contact in the Address Book.
Then, select “Edit” from the contact’s “Choose Action” menu.
When editing the contact, first, the contact is displayed on the map where you can change its address. To do so, input full or partial name of the new address into the “Search Address” field.
After inputting the new address into the corresponding field, select one of the suggested variants from the list.
Once you update the contact’s address, the new address is displayed on the map. Tap on the checkmark icon in the top right corner of the screen to save the new address and proceed to modify the contact’s details.
After updating the address, use the corresponding fields to edit the contact’s alias, name, email address, etc. To apply the changes, tap on the checkmark icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Once the contact is successfully edited, it is displayed in your Address Book as well as the corresponding notification will indicate so at the bottom of the screen.
All contacts edited in your Address Book from your Android device are instantly synchronized across all authorized devices that have access to your account.
