View Your Address Book Contacts on an iPad

When using the Route4Me iPad routing app, you can view and map your Address Book contacts. The Address Book is where you store contacts that you frequently visit. It’s a centralized database for all your contacts and accessible through the iPad routing app.

To access the Address Book, first, tap More at the bottom of the screen.

 

Then, tap Synced Address Book.

 

Viewing a Contact in the Address Book List

The Address Book List on your iPad routing app displays the alias, address, and color assigned to each contact.

 

You can find a specific contact by scrolling through the list or by using the search field.

 

Type the address or alias related to your contact in the search field, and then tap Search.

 

Next, tap on the contact on the search results.

 

View or even edit your contact’s details, such as first and last name, phone number, or email.

 

Viewing a Contact on the Address Book Map

Tap the map icon at the top-right of the screen to view your contacts on a map.

 

The map displays each contact as a map pin. You can also customize the pin’s color by editing the contact.

 

The address list is available at the bottom of the screen. You can swipe left or right to browse through your addresses.

 

You can pinch to zoom in and out of the map.

 

Tap on a pin to view the details associated with the corresponding contact (including any custom data you added when you uploaded the contact to your address book).
