Team Communication with the Two-Way Real-Time Chat
Managers, dispatchers or route planners can communicate with drivers in real time by using the Route4Me’s two-way Real-Time Chat. This feature provides a quick and efficient way of communication within the Route4Me’s web and mobile applications.
To start the Real-Time Chat, first, open the route(s) assigned to the driver you want to communicate with. Then, in the Route Editor:
Click on the “Map Settings” on the Routes Map and check the “Activity Feed” box;
The Activity Feed will open on your right side of the screen. In the Activity Feed, you can see all the activities performed on the route and open the Real-Time Chat respectively.
To open the Real-Time Chat, click on the orange chat icon in the top right corner.
Type in your message and click “Send.”
The team members assigned to the route will receive a notification on their mobile devices.
The messages can be sent, stored and displayed in the Activity Feed that can be accessed in:
The Route Editor on the Route4Me’s website;
In the Activity Feed section of the Route4Me’s Android and IOS applications.
