Priority Stops – Address And Order Prioritization Route Optimization Constraint

With Route4Me, you can easily plan and optimize the most optimal, efficient, sustainable, and profitable multi-address routes. For an extra layer of route customization, you can add priority to your addresses, orders, and stops. For example, you can prioritize certain customers, insert last-minute orders that need to be visited with priority, deliver perishable and fragile items earlier on the route, etc. In this guide, you can learn how to add priority to uploaded addresses, Address Book customers, and orders, and plan and optimize routes with prioritized stops using Route4Me’s Route Planning Website.

Upload Addresses With Priority To Plan Prioritozed Routes

You can plan and optimize routes with priority stops using spreadsheets. In detail, add the “Priority” column to your spreadsheet and then define the preferred priority for addresses in the spreadsheet. The highest priority starts with “1” and the lowest priority is “65,535“. Accordingly, addresses with higher priority will be visited earlier on the route, and addresses with lower priority will be visited later on the route.

Equally important, you can define priority for individual addresses, and addresses without priority will be automatically sequenced based on your optimization settings. Additionally, learn more about Uploading Spreadsheets for Planning Routes and Route4Me’s Spreadsheet Formatting Requirements.
