Navigating a Route
The Route4Me Android app integrates with 3rd party navigation apps such as Google Maps or Waze for voice-guided turn-by-turn directions. It also provides written navigating directions within the app.
Getting Voice Guided Turn-by-Turn Directions
NOTE: Voice guided navigation works on a stop-by-stop basis, you will have to perform these actions for each stop.
Open the route you want to start navigating, then, on the “Stops” screen, tap the arrow icon at the right of the stop that you need to reach next.
Select your preferred navigation method from the apps you have installed on your device by tapping on it, then tapping “OK”.
NOTE: If you leave the box next to “Use as default app” checked, the system will remember your preference and it will send to navigation using your selected option without prompting you.
Your route will open in the navigation app, where you can set the voice-guided turn-by-turn directions.
Viewing the In-App Turn-by-Turn Directions
Open the main menu by tapping the Route4Me icon in the top-left corner of your screen and select “Directions”.
This will open the directions menu. Here you can see a complete list of your turn-by-turn directions. You can also change the directions for either driving or walking and you can set the distances to metric or imperial measuring systems by using the two switches at the top of your directions list. These options can also be changed from the “Settings” menu.
