Team Communication with Two-Way Real-Time Chat
Managers, dispatchers or route planners can communicate with drivers in real time by using Route4Me’s two-way real-time chat.
The chat is available through the in-route activity feed.
Click on the route assigned to the driver you want to communicate with. Click the “Map Settings” button on the route map and click the “Activity Feed” checkbox.
Click the orange chat icon to open the chat box.
Type in your message, then click the “Send” button.
Divers will receive a notification on their mobile device.
When they open the Route4Me app, they will see a pop-up window with a quick reply option.
The messages will be displayed in the activity feed and can be accessed in the Route Editor section of the Route4Me web platform and on a inside Route4Me's mobile apps.
More messages can be added to the conversation on either device.
