Regional Manager Route4Me User Type
Route4Me’s user hierarchy includes the following key user types: Account Owner, Administrator, Regional Manager, Route Planner, Dispatcher, Analyst, and Driver. By default, each user type has their own set of default account-level permissions for interacting with the Platform and other users. The role of each user type can be interpreted in your own way, depending on the particular needs of your business or unique business model. Thus, you can assign different user types (except for the Account Owner) to different team members according to their role within your business environment or choose the one that is the closest in terms of duties and responsibilities.
The Regional Manager user type can report to the Account Owner and Administrator user types. Regional Managers can create and manage team member accounts with the following user types: Dispatcher, Route Planner, Analyst, and Driver. Regional Managers are normally created by Admins or the Account Owner to control the operations of a particular company branch and be in charge of Route Planners, Dispatchers, Analysts, and Drivers that work at this company branch.
Regional Managers can see and modify the settings and permissions of only those users that are branched under them, as well as all Drivers associated with the primary Route4Me account if the “See All Drivers” Company Visibility permission is enabled (learn more).
Regional Managers can see and modify the settings of their sub-users, create new sub-users and link them to their existing sub-users, as well as view all routes of their sub-users. Regional Managers do not have the permission to delete any sub-users (only the Account Owner or Admin).
Regional Managers can use the multiple user invitation form for inviting multiple users at a time with the ability to pre-assign Dispatcher, Route Planner, Analyst or Driver user type to each invitee (learn more).
Regional Managers can log into other team member accounts that are branched under them. To do so, as the Regional Manager, click on the three dots menu icon next to the user whose account you want to log into and then select “Edit” from the menu. After that, update the user’s credentials (password only) and then use the new credentials for logging into this user’s account.
Regional Managers can view, open, and manage the routes, orders, Address Book contacts, and other data of the team members branched under them. The routes that have assigned users are marked with these users’ email addresses. The routes that have the given Regional Manager assigned to them are not marked when logged in as this Regional Manager.
Regional Managers can track the activities of all users that are branched under them through the Activity Feed (learn more), view the tracking history of each user (learn more), use Route4Me’s analytics tools for viewing users’ statistics, and more.
