Planning a Route with a Set of Orders on your iPhone
Route4Me’s iPhone App allows you to generate orders to help you improve your route planning process and make it more flexible. Orders can be used as one time transactions or visits as well as reused multiple times. Planning a route with a set of orders allows you to plan routes with different sets of stops without having to create stops manually or uploading them separately.
To plan a route with a set of orders, first, open your Orders List by going to “More” from the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen.
Then, tap on “Orders.”
In your Orders List:
Select the orders which you want to use for planning a route by checking the circles next to them;
Alternatively, you can select all orders in your Orders List by tapping “Select All.”
After selecting a set of orders, tap on “New Route” at the bottom of the screen.
Tap “Yes” when prompted.
To start editing the route, tap on the gear icon in the top right corner of the “Stops” screen.
In the “Route Settings,” type in the name of the route, select a date for which you want to schedule the route from the calendar, and fill out other details accordingly, as you normally would when planning a route on your iPhone. When finished, tap “Done” in the top right corner of the screen.
Finally, back on the “Stops” screen, tap “Plan Route.”
When prompted, tap “Confirm” to finish planning the route.
Once the route is planned, it is placed at the top of your Routes List.
