Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Based Route Importing

Route4Me’s Android app allows you to import addresses by means of the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature that scans JPG, PNG and PDF files with addresses and converts them into destinations. The Route4Me OCR feature is currently capable of scanning “FedEx Manifests” and “Amazon Flex Labels.” It is available for use only in the USA and enabled automatically based on the geolocation of the device.

To add destinations to a route using the OCR feature, first, go to “My Routes” from the navigation menu, tap on the route to which you want to add addresses, select “Open Route” and then tap “Add Destination” on the “Stops” screen.
