Inserting an Order into an Optimization
Inserting existing orders into optimizations allows you to add one or multiple stops with predefined data into different optimizations. You can add orders to optimizations in two different ways: from the Orders List and the Optimizations List.
Inserting an Order into an Optimization from the Orders List
Go to “Orders” from the Navigation Menu to open your Orders List.
Check the boxes next to the order(s) that you want to insert into an optimization.
Click “File” in the top left corner;
Select “Insert into Optimization.”
Type in the partial or full name of the optimization into which you want to insert the order(s), then select it from the suggestions list.
To insert the selected order into the optimization and return to the Orders List, click “Insert”;
If you want to insert the selected order and view or make changes to the optimization, click “Insert + Open Optimization.”
Inserting an Order into an Optimization from the Optimizations Page
Go to “Optimizations” from the Navigation Menu to open the Optimizations Page.
Click the gear icon next to the optimization into which you want to insert an order, then select “Edit.”
To insert an order into the optimization, click “Add New Address” in the optimization menu.
In the “Add New Address” window:
Type in full or partial alias of your order in the “Address” field. The system will generate the address associated with the alias of that order;
The alias of the order will be indicated between brackets, after the address;
After selecting the order(s) that you want to insert into the optimization, click “Finish Adding Addresses” to go back to the optimization menu.
The inserted order will be displayed in the list of addresses in the optimization menu;
Click the “Re-Optimize” button to include the order as an address into one of the planned routes in this optimization.
