Generate Orders from Search Groups Addresses
Your Route4Me Address Book Map is a centralized database where you and your team members can securely store and manage the information about customers’ locations, depots, commercial facilities, warehouses, or any other relevant prospects and real-world locations. When you have all that data stored on your account, you can use advanced search groups for structuring and filtering hundreds of thousands of sales and delivery addresses by virtually any parameters and then use the corresponding search groups for generating orders and accommodating the particular needs of your unique last mile or middle mile business. Moreover, Route4Me’s dynamic routing software is compatible with such eCommerce platforms as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, bigCommerce, osCommerce, Squarespace, Volusion, and other resources that are widely used by many businesses for supporting their eCommerce business processes.
First, to generate orders from the addresses stored in your Address Book and contacts in your advanced search groups, go to “Address Book Map” from the navigation menu.
Next, check the corresponding boxes to map those search groups you want to use to generate orders.
To generate an order from a single address or contact located in a particular search group, first, right-click on it and then select “Generate Order” from its menu.
Alternatively, you can generate orders from all addresses that are located in one or multiple search groups. To do so, first, use one of the corresponding drawing tools in the top left corner of the map to draw an area around the addresses that you want to use for generating orders.
After drawing the area, you can check how many addresses are included in this area in the bottom left corner of the screen. To generate orders from all addresses in the drawn area, first, go to “File” and then select “Generate Orders from Selected.”
After that, click on the corresponding button to confirm that you want to generate orders from the selected addresses.
Next, use the calendar for scheduling new orders for the preferred date.
After that, you can use the corresponding fields to add more details to the orders you are generating. When you generate an order from an address, this order inherits all data from this address (i.e., First Name, Last Name, E-mail, etc.). When you use the corresponding fields for adding particular details to an order that is being generated from an address, these order fields override the details contained in the address from which the corresponding order is being generated.
To generate orders from the selected addresses, click on the “Generate Orders” button.
To view and use the generated orders, go to “Orders” from the navigation menu.
In your Orders List, you can sort your orders by date or use the search to find particular orders by their corresponding attributes (i.e., Alias, First Name, Last Name, etc.).
To view the generated orders on the map, click on the globe icon in the top right corner of the screen.
After that, you can view your orders on the map and use them accordingly. To display your orders in the tile or list view, use the corresponding icons in the top right corner of the screen.
With Route4Me’s near real-time data synchronization, once you generate new orders from the Route4Me Web Platform, these orders instantly become available on Route4Me’s iOS and Android Route Planner apps.
NOTE: When you generate orders from the addresses located in one or multiple advanced search groups, the corresponding search groups and addresses remain unchanged.
