Download Addresses – Export Addresses from Address Book Map
Your Route4Me Address Book Map is a centralized database where you and your team members can securely store and manage the information about customers’ locations, depots, commercial facilities, warehouses, or any other relevant prospects and real-world locations. With Route4Me’s interactive Address Book Map, you can pick all types of addresses and locations right from the map and save them into your synchronized Address Book as contacts, customer profiles, or regular address entries. For more convenience, you can also export addresses and all the stored customer data at any time and use it for sharing with other delivery drivers and other team members, making reports, analyzing patterns in customers’ orders, and more.
To copy or export addresses and contacts using the interactive map, first, go to “Address Book Map” from the navigation menu.
Before exporting addresses or contacts, you can display on the map only those addresses that have already been used in routes, as well as the addresses that have not been routed. To display on the map only those addresses that have not been used in routes, drag the “Address Visibility” toggle in the top right corner of the screen to the “Unrouted” position.
To display on the map only those addresses that have already been used for planning routes, drag the “Address Visibility” toggle in the top right corner of the screen to the “Routed” position.
To export particular addresses from the map, first, you need to draw an area around the addresses that you want to download. To do so, use one of the drawing tools in the top left corner of the screen. To draw a circular area, first, select the circle-shaped drawing tool in the top left corner of the screen. Next, drag the cursor outwards from the center of the area and then drop it in the preferred spot.
To draw a rectangular/square area, first, select the square-shaped drawing tool in the top left corner of the screen. Next, left-click on the point on the map where you want to start drawing the area, and then drag and drop the corner of the area at the spot on the map where you want to complete the area.
To draw a custom-shaped area, first, select the corresponding drawing tool in the top left corner of the screen. Next, left-click on the point on the map where you want to start drawing the area and then continue drawing the area point by point. To finish drawing the area, connect the first point of the area with the last one. Alternatively, you can double left-click on a particular point on the map, and the area will automatically connect its first point with the last one. After drawing the area, you can check how many addresses are included in this area in the bottom left corner of the screen.
To export all addresses from the drawn area, first, right-click anywhere on this area and then select “Download Area Addresses” from the menu.
To copy the information of a particular address or contact on the map, first, right-click on the corresponding address or contact and then select “Copy Details to Clipboard” from the menu. When copying a particular address or contact to the clipboard, all available information about this address or contact is copied accordingly.
