Edit Address Book Contacts from an iPad

The Route4Me iPad route optimization app enables you to plan routes, optimize routes, dispatch routes, and track drivers on the go. Aside from being a reliable mobile route planner app, the Route4Me iPad route optimization app allows you to also manage your Address Book contacts with ease. You can view and edit your address book contacts on the go directly from your iPad.

NOTE: Changes made to your Address Book from your iPad are automatically saved to Route4Me’s servers and are also reflected when you log in to your Route4Me web account. If several users are sharing the same address book, the changes you made on your iPad may affect those users as well.

First, tap More at the bottom of the screen.

 

Then, tap Synced Address Book.

 

Now, tap the contact you want to edit.

 

Alternatively, you can use the Address Book Map to edit your contacts. Tap the pin representing your contact, and then tap the Edit icon.

 

Tap Edit to begin editing your contact’s details.

 

These address book contact fields are editable on the iPad app:

  • Address (you need to re-validate the new address by selecting it from the autocomplete suggestion list);
  • First Name;
  • Last Name;
  • Phone;
  • Email;
  • Group.

Also, you can assign or change the color assigned to a stop. Tap on the circle next to the address.

 

Then, tap a color from the selection.

 

Tap Done to save your changes.
