Creating New Users/Team Member Accounts Using the Route4Me iPhone App
Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner enables you to effortlessly manage your entire mobile workforce on the go and make sure that you always delegate the right tasks to the right people. With the Route4Me iPhone app, you are able to build a well-structured and easily-manageable network of users that can have different roles and responsibilities based on the corresponding account-level permissions. Moreover, Route4Me provides near real-time data synchronization across all associated computer and mobile devices so that when a new user is created using Route4Me’s iOS and Android mobile apps, the profile of this user instantly becomes available on the Route4Me Web Platform and vice versa.
To create a new team member account, first, go to “More” from the navigation menu and then select “Team” to open the list of all existing users associated with your Route4Me account.
Next, tap on the plus icon in the top right corner of the screen. After that, use the corresponding fields to add the first and last name of the new user, as well as the user’s contact e-mail address and account password. NOTE: The user’s contact e-mail address is also used as the login to this user’s Route4Me account.
After that, select a particular User Type for the user’s account. To do so, tap on the corresponding drop-down list and then select the preferred User Type accordingly. NOTE: Depending on the selected User Type, this user will have the corresponding set of account-level permissions. To learn more about account-level permissions of each User Type, visit this page.
Next, select who the user should be reporting to. To do so, first, tap on the current “Owner User” and then select the preferred user from the corresponding list.
In the “Extended User Settings” section, you can add more details to the user’s profile using the corresponding fields.
To set up specific permissions and restrictions for the user, in the “User Role & Access Options” section, use the corresponding toggles to do so. To learn more about User Roles and Access Options, visit this page.
To finish and create the user’s account, tap on the “Add” button in the top right corner of the screen.
