Creating and Managing Your “Favorites” Addresses and Contacts Using the Route4Me iPhone App

Route4Me’s iPhone Route Planner is designed to make your routing operations and transactions as fast and flexible as possible, enabling you and your team to use a single secure centralized database for storing and managing all information about customers, depots, commercial facilities, warehouses, and any other prospects or real-world locations that are relevant to your business (learn more). To create new or view your existing “Favorites” addresses and contacts, first, go to “More” from the navigation menu and then select “Favorites” from the list.

To create a copy of an address from the “Contacts” on your iPhone and add it to “Favorites,” first, tap on the address book icon in the top right corner of the screen and then choose the “Select from Contacts” option when prompted. After that, select the address that you want to add to “Favorites” from the “Contacts” on your iPhone.

To create a copy of an address from your Route4Me Synced Address Book and add it to “Favorites,” first, tap on the address book icon in the top right corner of the screen and then choose the “Select from My Address Book” option when prompted. After that, select the address that you want to add to “Favorites” from the list.

To create a new “Favorites” address manually, first, tap on the plus icon in the top right corner of the screen. Next, input the full or partial address into the corresponding field and then select one of the suggested geocoded and autocompleted variants. To add a custom alias to the address, input the alias into the “Destination Details” field.

To finish and add the address to “Favorites,” tap on the “Done” button in the top right corner of the screen.

To create a copy of an address from your Route4Me Synced Address Book and add it to “Favorites,” first, go to “More” from the navigation menu and then select “Address Book” from the list.

After that, open the preferred address and then tap on the star icon to add this address to “Favorites.”

Once the address from your Synced Address Book is added to “Favorites,” it is displayed with the star icon on the “Address Book” screen and becomes available on the “Favorites” screen accordingly.

To change the order of “Favorites” addresses in the list, first, tap on the “Edit” button in the top right corner of the screen and then drag and drop addresses from their current position to the preferred position in the list.

To delete a particular address from “Favorites,” first, tap on the delete icon next to this address and then tap on the “Delete” button accordingly.

Alternatively, swipe to the left on the address that you want to remove from the list and then tap on the “Delete” button.

NOTE: When you delete addresses from “Favorites,” it does not affect the addresses that they were created/copied from (i.e., addresses in the Synced Address Book, etc.).
