Route4Me’s Android Route Planner is designed to make your routing operations and transactions as fast and flexible as possible, allowing you to plan, optimize, and navigate routes of any complexity on the go. With Route4Me’s Rapid Entry System, you can browse through all available street names and building numbers located in a particular area using only the ZIP code of this area. Thus, you do not need to know the full address to be able to add it to a route. Moreover, with Route4Me’s near real-time data synchronization across all associated computer and mobile devices, whenever you add new addresses to a particular route using Route4Me’s iOS and Android mobile apps, this route can be automatically updated on the Route4Me Web Platform and vice versa.

 

To use the Rapid Entry System for adding one or multiple addresses to a particular planned route, first, go to “My Routes” from the navigation menu and then select the corresponding route from your Route List.

Next, tap on the plus icon in the top right corner of the screen and then go to the “Browse” tab.

After that, input the ZIP code of the area where the address you are looking for is located and then tap on the “Confirm Zip Code” button. Next, input the house number of the building you are looking for into the corresponding field and then tap on the “Confirm House Number” button. After that, select the preferred street name from the “Select a Street” list.

Next, the app will automatically combine all selected options and provide a valid street address. After that, add an alias and phone number to the address using the corresponding fields (optional). To add more addresses to the route, tap on the “Save & Add New” button. To save the added address and go back to the route, tap on the “Save & Close” button.

If the route is optimized as “End Anywhere,” the newly added address is inserted as the “End” destination on the route. If the route is optimized as “Roundtrip,” the newly added address is inserted into the route as the last stop before the “End” destination. When adding a new address to a planned route, this addresses is added to the route as the last stop or “End” destination on the route. To optimize the route and place the newly added addresses in the most optimal sequence, tap on the “Optimize” button on the route’s “Stops” screen.

Once the route is re-optimized and the newly added addresses are placed on the most optimal positions based on the predefined optimization settings, the route’s total time and distance can change (decrease) accordingly.
