Assigning Team Members/Users to Routes Using the Route4Me Android App
Route4Me’s Android Route Planner enables you to effortlessly manage your entire mobile workforce on the go and make sure that you always delegate the right tasks to the right people. With the Route4Me Android app, you are able to build a well-structured and easily-manageable network of users that can have different roles and responsibilities based on the corresponding account-level permissions (learn more). Moreover, Route4Me provides near real-time data synchronization across all associated computer and mobile devices so that when a particular team member is assigned to any route using the Route4Me Web Platform, this route instantly becomes available on Route4Me’s iOS or Android mobile app of the corresponding user and vice versa.
To assign a particular team member to a route, first, go to “My Routes” from the navigation menu to open the list of all your routes.
Next, tap on the route to which you want to assign a particular user and then select “Assign User” from the route’s menu.
After that, select the team member that you want to assign to the route from the list of all users associated with your Route4Me account. Once the selected user is assigned to the route, the name and email of the assigned user are displayed under the name of the corresponding route on the “My Routes” screen.
Route4Me provides near real-time data synchronization across all associated computer and mobile devices so that when a particular user is assigned to one or multiple routes using the Route4Me iOS or Android mobile apps, as well as the Route4Me Web Platform, all corresponding routes automatically become available on this user’s device(s) accordingly.
