Adding Destinations to a Route Using the Rapid Entry System
The Route4Me Android app features the Rapid Entry System that allows you to add stops to a route by browsing the list of actual addresses that are located in a specific area. The Rapid Entry System is available for use only in the USA and enabled automatically based on the geolocation of the device.
To add addresses to a route using the Rapid Entry System, first, go to “My Routes” from the navigation menu, then tap on the route to which you want to add destinations and select “Open Route” from the “Choose Action” menu. Once the route is opened, tap “Add Destination” at the bottom of the “Stops” screen.
Then, open the “Browse” tab by tapping on it.
In the “Browse” tab, first, type in the zip code of the area of the address that you want to locate and tap “Confirm Zip Code.” Type in the “House Number” of the building and tap “Confirm House Number.” Then, select the street from the suggested list.
Once the street is selected, the full address is generated and displayed at the top of the screen.
Optionally, you can add an alias and a phone number that will be associated with the destination. Tap on the notebook icon in the “Phone” field to add a contact from your address book. Tap “Save & Add New” to save the address and continue adding more addresses or tap “Save & Close” to save the address and finish.
Once the address is added, the corresponding notification will appear at the bottom of the screen.
The added address is displayed at the bottom of the screen as the last stop on the route.
To optimize the route and get the best sequence of stops, tap on the corresponding button at the bottom of the screen.
