Set Route Stop Status – iPhone Route Planner App

With Route4Me’s iOS Route Planner app, you can easily plan and optimize routes and use route navigation on the go from your iPhone or iPad. Furthermore, our iOS route planner app provides multiple tools for tracking route progress and recording various last-mile operations. Specifically, you can assign different route destination status types to your route stops.

Assigning statuses to route destinations gives you more realistic route KPIs, improves route management, helps to raise customer satisfaction, and much more. Additionally, Route4Me’s iOS app supports real-time order status and delivery status synchronization with the Web Platform. In this way, drivers can assign statuses from the app and automatically sync them. In turn, route planners and managers can track order statuses, monitor route progress, track delivery statuses, etc., using the Web Platform.

Open and Start Route on iOS Route Planner App

First, open and start the scheduled route you want to navigate on your route planner app for iPhone and iPad. To open a planned route, go to “Routes” from the navigation menu at the bottom and then select the preferred route. Next, tap on the “Start Route” button to start the selected route.

Accordingly, tap on the “Failed” button to select the respective route destination status and then tap on the “Mark as Failed” button.

Mandatory Tasks and Stop Statuses on Route Planner App

Additionally, our iOS Route Planner app enables you to use mandatory tasks together with stop statuses. The Mandatory Tasks feature restricts users from assigning the “Done” status to a stop before completing the required mandatory actions. For example, mandatory barcode reconciliation, mandatory electronic signature capture, mandatory image attachments, etc.

Accordingly, you can view what tasks are mandatory in the “Mandatory Tasks” section when assigning a status or adding a note to a stop. Learn more about setting up mandatory tasks for the iOS Route Planner app.

Equally important, Route4Me’s mobile route planner app supports real-time order and delivery status synchronization with the Web Platform. Therefore, when you add an order status to a route destination from the iOS routing app, it becomes available on the Web Platform in real-time. Thus, drivers can assign statuses to stops when out in the field, and dispatchers can monitor route progress and track deliveries and orders at the office.
